Considering Thanos' death to be his ultimate achievement, he donned the mad gods uniform and infinity gauntlet.
He then turned his aweful eye of destruction to the multiverse timelines and felt joy.)

Juggernaut: ( as red thanos spent a long bit of time systematically killing off other timelines red hulks, so none could usurp his rule, he found a young Franklin Richards crying about the death of his royal family at the hands of unruly rebelious 'doom's men' followers of the peasent king who promised to liberate them from our rule. He who would be called only Doom.
Red Thanos saw the rage and hate burning in his eyes, he held out a hand containing a large red gem, the gem of cytorak.)

Wolverine: ( Emma Frost's life was turned upside down in the WWII nazi mutant death camps. Hitler's ambition was to destroy every mutant on earth. Having fled to the wild, she manifested her mutant abilties in thecompany of apack of wolves. Her skin became as diamond, and her hands ended with shiney diamond hard claws that were sharp enough to exact revenge on a world that abandoned her.)

Constrictor: ( constrictor was a small time hood with a marginally effective suit with retractable cords of adamantium for which to constrict. His life was ordinary, a D list villian with A list aspirations. Completely hum drum exsistence until he tried to steal company plans on the day they were testing their new gamma bomb project. Not only does he have hulk like powers, but his skeleton fused with adamantium tenticles enough to make reverting back to human impossible. Still using the name Constrictor, his size, green color, and adamantium tentacles create a frightening site to stare at in battle. )

Sabertooth: ( Sabertooth is the most wanted serial cannibal in his world as of the reporting of this biography. Food is hard to come by and the seven foot tall man with the thick corse black hair covering his entire body, and the three sharp metal claws protruding from each hand, never goes hungry.
Red Thanos finds him rolling in the remains of the young lady he had for lunch. His one condition to sabertooth joining the new collective: " Logan, put on some damn pants ".)

Thor: ( Raven Darkholm was born a mutant in the dark time of fear. She posessed the ability to change shape at will, allowing her to perfectly mimic other people. This allowed her to survive.
One day while getting caught stealing food, she cut the throat of the cart vendor, and filled her bag with food before she ran. She hated this place, what its made her into, a criminal. She had to do it though, she was so angry and scared.
A great battle in the distance got her attention. When she arrived she saw it was a battle of the gods between Thor and Loki, both taking a beating.
Loki smashed Thor in his face, and the god fell to the ground. Raven watched the trickster god draw close. She picked up Thor's hammer and read the inscription. " Any who posess the pure hate and fear needed to pick up this hammer, will be grant the powers of Thor".

Raven slew good Loki with his brothers hammer, then before she flew off to conquer, she slew the vile creature who once was Thor god of Destruction, a mantle she now proudly bears.)

This is both easy and hard. I'll keep mine to teams that I think would actually work together.

Avengers
1. Wolverine (leader) - He does what needs to be done. Would have gone with Cyclops but after AvX I don't think any Avenger would work with him.
2. Iron Man - At his best when he doesn't have to worry about controlling everything.
3. Mr. Fantastic - Great for the think tank and his powers are a great non-lethal option.
4. Beast - Between him, Tony, and Reed any problem is solved fast.
5. Iceman - "godlike" with his powers fully realized
6. The Thing - You gotta have a strong man and someone to keep Reed grounded

If you wanted a team that was nearly all brains you could switch out Giant-Man and Hulk/Banner for Wolverine and Thing.

Masters of Evil
1. Norman Osborn - Because he pure evil and crazy, unlike a lot of villains that think they are doing what is right.
2. Bullseye
3. Juggernaut
4. Doc Ock
5. Sabertooth
6. Red Hulk

I left Doom and Magneto off because I don't think they would work well with each other or Osborne. I think the nature of most super villains is to be in control, that's why so many have henchmen and run organizations/countries/gangs.

If was just the scariest and hardest to beat team of villains I would say

The shocking truth is that there never was a Victor Von Doom in the first place- Reed made a robot to get into college and kept perfecting it untill it was human enough to attend classes with him as a "student". Reed used the robot, (which he named "Doom" sarcasticly as it would be "doom" for Reed if he got caught) to cheat on exams- particularly particle physics and the test on Cosmic Radiation.

As time went on, the robot Doom grew to hate his master and decided to will Reed, the two fought and caused an explosion from spilled chemicals that reed used to drug coeds. The explosion damaged the false flesh mask of the Doombot and it fled into the night. It's programming eroding from damage the explosion caused,much of it's memory was erased, leaving only the hatred of Reed Richards. Wandering New York's streets, Doombot stumbles into a children's bookstore and adopts many concepts from the fairy tale and autherian legend books, concocting a background for itself that suited the explosion and hatred of Richards.

There is no Doom- only Doom-bot!
