Awesome! I just bought a Wolverine and Bishop. Combine that with Iron Fist and X-23 and I'm only missing the arms!

Tempted to get this Punisher some day:

the worst thing about that particular BAF is the fact it will not stand properly.an absolute nightmare.

I have my armless one leaning against a wall. The legs are wonky as hell.

Yes, yes it is.

TheDub 09-19-2012 03:09 PM

And it's next to a ML wolvie? Wow....that things is MASSIVE. Are all MS figures bigger than Legend scale?

Most are believe. And as you can tell, all the massive characters are really massive.

EL997 09-19-2012 03:26 PM

yea MS = 7' scale whereas ml is 6' scale (1/10)

astonishing wolvie is in scale at around 5.5 inches

looks still pretty in scale if you ask me

Marvel Select Juggs can pass for scale with Legends b/c he is shorter. but both MS Hulk & Rulk are just too tall next to Legends, IMO. They could be a bit shorter and maintain the muscle mass and have been better.

MS Thanos seems to work, too.

Well if you compared an MS Thanos to an ML Hulk, Thanos would look too tall.

TheDub 09-19-2012 04:00 PM

You know, for the longest time I thought the MS thanos WAS the ML one. Then someone posted a pic and said, look at the MS thanos. So....chances are I won't be able to get it, to expensive.

Well, I was able to snag one for $25 at a Toyfair. So I'd keep an eye out at places like that.

if you look at the arms and legs on the regular apocalypse they are blue,on this version they were black.bootleg most likely.

Nah it's legit, not sure how Toybiz determined which figure got a variant piece though.

i think they may have been spares that were just tossed in for good measure.

Nope it was a legit color for him and the color that I ended up with when I collected the line.

The black version was soooo much nicer than the blue IMO.

wolvie82 09-19-2012 09:27 PM

The black parts came with the variants except the torso u had to cone across it which come with maestro hulk

TheDub 09-19-2012 09:30 PM

The white sachs look like they came with blue arms....

Don't think so. We can see a white Sasquatch right there, which is the variant, and both packages have blue arms. Plus the torso comes with X-23

I had the original x23 which came with the regular head/chest piece. maybe the black variant comes with the black variant piece.. who knows.

It's truly a mystery. If you look at Maestro, there is no variant but yet he can come with a black version of an apoc arm. I don't get it...

wolvie82 09-19-2012 10:43 PM

yeah ur right my bad on the x-23 but yeah on the variants only variants as far as i know came with the black poeces

wolverine2281 09-20-2012 06:32 AM

I wasn't following the whole convo but AFAIK the regulars only came with Blue Apoc pieces but the variants were made with both either blue or black. I still have some variants available with black pieces and have the variant Wolvie with both blue and black pieces in my collection.
