Then why is Paul Bettany playing the Vision?

He may not be the full Vision just a previous version. Vision is a Robot like Brainiac or Terminators. So it's possible that Coulson is a Cyborg

While that may be, Vision never looked like anyone else and he was completely synthetic. Only his mind was modeled on Simon Williams' brain patterns. It's possible that they could use Coulson's mind in the same way for this iteration of Vision (especially since Williams is apparently not in the next Avengers film).

well Agents of SHIELD is an avenue to introduce Lesser* Characters or Characters they simply do not have time to introduce due to Movie release schedule.


*by lesser I mean characters not strong enough to anchor a movie

Couldn't be Vision as Ultron hasn't even shown up yet. Jarvis becomes Ultron in Avengers 2 and Vision is confirmed to be in that movie and played by someone else.

We don't know that Jarvis will become Ultron, that has always just been a strong speculation. Since Bettany is playing both characters, there is reason to believe Jarvis will be turned into Vision by Ultron.

I have to admit this weeks episode was one of the best.

Odin most likely gave her that mission prior to Loki's "ascension". That, or Loki has plans for Lorelei and needed her back in Asgard first.

The thing to remember about Loki is anything is possible and nothing is guaranteed.

exactly and since we don't know how much time passed on the show since Thor 1 & 2, Avengers, Iron Man 1- 3, Captain America 1 & 2, and Guardians. Heck we could very well be 24-48 hours from the God Spear.

Heck on other shows on ABC Once Upon a Time for example the show did season 1 - 3 (the first 11 episodes) take place over the course of 1 - 3 weeks with the second half of three 1 year later. Heck 24 did a full day in 22 episodes which means the shows time all seasons took place in what less then a weeks (boy that week sucked for Keifer Sutherland's character {I never watched the show})

I'll reserve judgement until I see him in action but it doesn't look much like Deathlok.

I think he'll be just fine if they added the headgear and maybe some visible tech on one of the arms. Maybe that will be an upgrade for when/if he shows up in one of the movies.

it's all but written in the sky for us. 100% confirmed that Ultron is a Tony Stark creation. A self-aware A.I. that will likely use Stark's armory to mess with the Avengers before revealing himself and the bodies he's built based on Iron Man tech. Has to be Jarvis or a portion of him that splitters of. The press releases, casting, and even scenes from IM3 (deleted and theatrical) all make it 99% certain. I guess they could just be lying about everything without any reason. The Mandarin reveal was about a surprise we wouldn't see coming because it was nothing like any comic, so unless they are actually going to make Hank Pym the creator of Ultron and all of this is to mess with the fans I think you can bet on it.

Maybe Tony tries to create a new AI to pilot the Iron Man suit so he doesn't have to be in it anymore and that's how he comes up with Ultron. Then Ultron goes rogue due to some kind of "I, Robot"-ish programming flaw. Then finding himself defeated by Tony and Jarvis, Ultron turns Jarvis into Vision to cripple Tony, stop the Avengers, kill all humanity and take over the world (Of course!).

Did you guys not see the deleted scenes from Avengers where Jarvis is telling Tony how he doesn't really need the Avengers and that they are dragging him down. A clear set-up for them wanting to use him as Ultron's origin. They cut out and decided that maybe it was too on the nose but it's easy for them to see that Ultron is some version of Jarvis and that's why when he makes Vision is sounds like Jarvis. Maybe they won't have Ultron create Vision though and maybe Tony creates him on his own. Remember when we some people thought Coulson might become Vision?

For those of you how misunderstood the ending of Agents of SHIELD this week.. The Trailer with Nick Fury driving and the Winter Solider blowing the car is actually the tie in between Captain America and AoS and that was the way it should have ended

Sweet tie in, can't wait to see Maria Hill come back, I think the show would be great if she was a permanent in next season. Glad that Ward is the traitor as well and not May! Didn't think they would kill of Hand though, what's Hands role in the comics?

My thoughts exactly. Saw the Deathlok episode, boy was a I disappointed, they make him look so weak, just stood there while getting shot at ugh. Not the Deathlok I know, and he kept running from the agents.

1) Garrett is/was the "Clairvoyant" (no he was a guy with clearence) and he wears bad turtle necks
2) Ward Sided with Hydra only after lip locking Skye a few times but nobody on the Bus knows it, But Ward stole the Bus so
3) Victoria Hand was killed
4) Agent Stillwell was killed (Captain America: The Winter Solider)
5) Phil Coulson has had a rough time since the visited T.A.H.I.T.I and now Hydra has taken over
6) Deathlock disappeared since before The winter solider attack Fury
7) The Cooler has fallen to Hydra. All prisoners released
8) Several mentions of Captain America, Bruce Banner, and The NY Incident
9) Agent Triplet sided with Coulson and is replacing Ward
10) Melinda May was spying for Fury but has left the Team to meet a Maria (Hill or Hand is unknown)
11) Skye discovered that Ward is lying
12) Patton Oswalt plays Agent Koenig and is already dead.

I think you mean Victoria Hand. Maria is very much alive.
