its oversimplifing the Retail route. The figures are cheaper I wont argue that but the cost to the buyer is more. The total cost of 1 figure increases by external forces Fuel, tolls, and food. You cannot ensure that a certain figure will be at any one of the Target, Walmart, Kmart, or Toy$ R u$ when I get there costing me fuel and tolls. A 17.27$ figure (sales tax) could end up costing you a lot more.

progress report good news/bad news... The MOTU sub has passed 80% is the good.
DCU is still in the 40% area is the bad. I already did my part lets push it 3 1/2 days left I want Doomsday, Ice, and Robin Damien

I think I might do it, but I'll need to wait until Sunday to do it. I'm not crazy about the selection, but I don't want to see the line just die out.

As for Damian, while I want him, I do NOT want him in the sub. That slot could go to someone else like Vandal, Shade, Faust, a Titan, even a Legionaire. Damian should be someone who is done either through a special retail release (I don't care, pack him with another Batman at TRU) or as a convention exclusive.

CMIII 08-16-2013 12:32 PM

welcome back Kain we all knew you would. As much as we don't agree on many things those figures you mentioned would be sweet. Id like to see Damien with Talia or better yet a Robin 5 pack with Dick, Jason, Tim, Stephanie, and Damien

But that is what I mean though. I want Damian, but not in the sub.

MattyCollector shows it at 72, where does the 80 come from?

CMIII 08-16-2013 05:37 PM

I meant to say 70% finger slipped. Still DC needs a Defibulator.

TheDub 08-25-2013 02:27 PM

Anyone know when we will be getting a refund for our dcu subs?

CMIII 08-25-2013 03:14 PM

next week err this week early.

The Saddest part they never even considered preparing a Back up Plan so now they look stupid and by the way NO the Sub isn't worth it you get jerked around and they Plan for only one outcome. They don't answer direct questions and Probably need to consider Managing the two lines by different people leave Scott in charge of the MOTU and put someone else in front of DCU stuff.

Tiberius 08-25-2013 03:15 PM

This week man, via their FB page.

Which is bullshit because they announced on Tuesday the sub was canned so I should have had my refund on Wed.

CMIII 08-25-2013 05:15 PM

I agree with Kain.. As much as I wanted the Sub I want my money back more, Oh wait this is digital River we'll be luck to get our Money back at all

Tiberius 08-25-2013 05:37 PM

Why I don't deal with them. Why I never EVER will sub.

Falconhood 08-26-2013 02:56 AM

You'll get your refund in 2-3 weeks, delivered on the back of a turtle.

I have never known credit card refunds from ANY source to be that quick. The card companies themselves generally make the process take anywhere from 3-7 working days.

CMIII 08-26-2013 04:57 PM

so we should have them Tuesday or Wednesday but only after they scare everyone into thinking their card are cancelled

I'm not talking about the credit card companies, I am talking about Matty. There is absolutely NO reason they should not have had the refunds processing on Wed.

jestermon 08-26-2013 09:50 PM

Good luck I bet everyone that tried to get a DC sub pops up with a club eternia sub and no refund.

CMIII 08-26-2013 10:04 PM

Mattel will be getting every figure after I shoot it with a gun and a note saying "Keep your Crappy He Man line. Give me my damn money" or I just Drag them into court and they end up paying me after a Judge tells them they have no choice but to.

No offense to any He-Man fan I just do not want those...

Why would that happen? That's pretty ridiculous to assume.

I sincerely hope that was sarcasm.

Otherwise, that's just an asinine idea and it's ridiculous to even suggest it.

Crappy line? MOTUC is easily the best line out. From character selection to detail. They're second to none. And seriously, Matty has infinite resources compared to you. They would eat you alive in court if it came down to it. lol
