Is that Hill figure just the same body as Black Widow? Does anyone have a close up of her?

I believe he was making what most people call a "joke". :D and Dan Slott is the current writer for Spider-Man.

merqabah 07-26-2014 06:36 PM

seriously doubt i will find most of this at retail, im almost sure that maria hill will be used for costumizing shield armies and will be scarce.

i never could find the second wave of captain america infinite series in the wild.

Startaiger 07-26-2014 06:39 PM

Well, that Avengers wave 2 is very good so far, liking the 5 figures & the BaF. But we probably haven't seen the whole wave yet, I think 1 more fig + 1 or 2 variants are still to be revealed.
Was the 3.75 Shanna shown during the panel or announced only??

jestermon 07-26-2014 09:16 PM

Man that sandy version Sandman looks so neat.

Did the ASM line need yet another basic Spidey, especially so quick on the heels on the movie version which was easily one of the best ever made? Spidey 2099 and Spider Girl? More Spidey's for a line that's already saturated. Might as well give us Iron Spider and Crystal Armored Spider-man and call it a day. Where is Gwen or MJ? I'd take JJJ over another Spidey variation. Lord knows they haven't been done yet. What about ASM2 Goblin? Speaking of goblins, I'm not sure what's up with that Hobgoblin as I haven't been following lately, but if that's how he looks now in the comic, what a joke. That costume looks like something you buy out of the holiday seasonal section at Walmart. I'll stick with my Leeds and Macendale Goblins from Toybiz...thank you very much.

The Avengers wave both surprised me and left me scratching my head. I thought for sure there would be a Superior Iron Man, Sam Wilson Captain America (those two are partial sarcasm, but realistic expectations.), and the new female Thor. But another Hawkeye? We just got him in the Rocket Racoon Wave. Scarlett Witch...alright cool, since the movie is coming up, but where's Quicksilver? I don't know enough about Machine Man to care honestly, so I won't say anything on that. Iron Fist though...why not put him in the ASM line and follow up with a White Tiger and Luke Cage figure to give us the cast from the animated series?

Totally agree with this...but still better then nothing I suppose, although it would have been nice to throw in those X-Men figures that they showed off last year saying they were finally going to get a release date. The MI stuff cool at the same time it's stuff that should have been released already especially the Northstar! Will be looking forward to both Beasts but I'm betting him and Sandy are the variants? And will be a pain to get.

Haha you know it and I'm she'll be the one truly scalped as bad as BW is from the Cap line.

Hard to call it a weak assortment when they've only released three figures and the BAF. There's still a lot of room and possible figures in this wave. Remember wave 1 had a "movie" Spidey, Superior Spider-man, and a Spider-girl, and in total that wave was in no way a weak assortment.

Redlantern161 07-27-2014 12:56 AM

I like coulson & hill getting figures, they're some major players in shield. Thanos is grest to have in legends form. Now that the pleasantries are out of the way I'll just say this: Why in the hell does Hasbro think they can jerk us around by putting out the lazy swivel elbows or single piece torsos? Good lord are they cheap & generic looking, even more than the Iron Man ASSemblers. Even more nonsensical than the avengers figures that had the spinning upper arms.

ukmu 07-27-2014 02:22 AM

The MI 3.75" Dark Beast looks like he is looking for a coin he dropped on the ground.

It looks like the same legs and arms with a different lower torso (no belt/buckle, different layers on sides) and possibly a new upper torso (smaller bust) so hopefully they've *at least* made her a bit taller, since the actress is a good 6" taller.

Edited to add: clearly new lower arms too, but it might be the same upper torso. And now that I look at them, there's a TON of texture on BW that's not there on Maria Hill, so there might be barely any parts-sharing. Shins/feet and upper arms for sure, maybe the upper torso, but that might be it.

SDCC 2014 - Hasbro Marvel Infinite Series Sunday Update - The Toyark - News

Iceman 07-27-2014 01:49 PM

Much better showing of those figures in the case than the promo shots lead us to believe.

Enigma2K2 07-27-2014 07:36 PM

... is it me or are those Infinite figures lacking an ab swivel/joint?

And Hasbro... I didn't want that Big Time Spidey when it was 6 inches. What the f*** makes you think I want a smaller one?

Exodus 07-27-2014 09:49 PM

So a total of 8 new MI figures and who knows when they'll come out..ooh boy. Although technically it's 7 since Northstar should have came out already.

from hasbro... it says spiderman ?

Redlantern161 07-28-2014 12:56 AM

Can I ask why some pics are missing? There's no sign of the full King Thor/ Odin wave here orthe 3 pack. I hope this isn't a result of stuff being glazed over. I hope these figures come out altogether

Dormamu 07-28-2014 08:34 AM

*Sees Coulson and Hill figures. Misses all other Agents Of Shield characters.

Way to market all your brands. Just par for the course. I'm tired of the oversaturation/underbranding of things. It's like the collector equivalent of the music industry.

Dr Kain 07-28-2014 06:06 PM

So when is Thanos and Hill coming out?
