Hopefully this is just a slip-up on NECA's part...BTW, where is this shipping calendar that you speak of? |
Quote:
| NECAOnline.com They have the current and following months updated. Once we move onto August, they'll populate September's listings. |
Man, that cover art is ugly.
|
After this one and the new T2 one come out, there's going to be some fun, and super easy customization options for the Ultimate T-800 figures.
|
What exactly are you envisioning, Joe?

"It's going to arrive in our warehouse at the very end of the month, so I'd guess most stores won't start receiving it until the first week of August." So not quite yet, but soon. Just in time for my birthday, in fact! |

I was on the fence about these figures but the rubbery guns have put me right off. I collect too many figures to put up with that crap lol.

I never noticed that both of these figures are identical from the waist down. I swear I thought he had a complete costume change about halfway through the film.
I'd be all over the police station version if I didn't already have the Tech Noir version. I'm a big fan of both of these looks. |

And if anyone needs a reminder of the accessories that came with the recent Tech Noir figure...seriously, shame on you, NECA. You're better than this. http://www.toyark.com/members/dolemi...103-a-3515.jpg http://www.toyark.com/members/dolemi...81105-3516.jpg Quote:

What kind of material are they then? Hard plastic?

Seriously though, yes, the machine gun, auto-shotgun, and pistol that come with the Police Station Assault T-800 are all made of a much harder plastic than the Gummy Worms that came with the Tech Noir figure. The barrel on the machine gun has a wee bit of wiggle to it, but it's no big deal at all, and doesn't even approach the noodle-like quality of Tech Noir's shotgun. The only issue is that the way the auto-shotgun is packaged in some of the boxes has resulted in a slight bit of a bend to it, but since the weapon is otherwise quite solid the old hot water trick can probably fix that up in no time. I managed to find one without a bend, however. |
