I would too, but we don't live in world of unicorns and rainbows, so if the best I was gonna get are bootlegs, I got the bootlegs. I'm not gonna let a false sense of fealty to an huge corporation rob me of a chance to own great figures. Definitely not gonna pay the obscene prices on ebay. if Viacom can't deliver, I'm looking elsewhere.

That being said, I'm glad I nabbed this set, and I look forward to the future KOs so I can get more foot ninja.

The pre order for non attendees was a month ago. 1000 sets were made for pre order for non attendees and 2000 for the NYCC show. They said they are doing 500 sets per day at the show. the set is limited to 3000.

From what I've heard from people attending, don't hold your breath for leftovers. It's a popular set.

Got my two sets on Tuesday. They're pretty damn sweet! Unfortunately, the two regular foot soldiers, who I like most, have the biggest issues standing. Luckily they have peg holes. I can make it work.

I have a gut feeling that Neca will re-release their turtles sooner than later. I think this because I have purchased 2 different KO Turtle sets in the past week or so (One colored headbands and one set of red headbands) from different sellers. Both the auctions were removed after I purchased as I believe Neca is locking down all these bootlegs out there so that when they release them again the only ones available will be legit.

Not necessarily. Last year, I tried for a month to buy the ko TMNT from ebay, but each of my purchases were flagged and closed down before I could complete the sale. finally I ordered from Aliexpress and got them. ebay goes through periods of cracking down randomly.
