From the arcade game? Apparently they can't do Linn because of Capcom but I guess they could eventually do robo-arm Dutch. The only games I'm really interested in seeing them touch are the first-person AVP games, otherwise different comics and of course the final Kenner predators are my non-movie focuses. We're already getting Broken Tusk and Machiko but I would like to see Lightstepper and maybe Top-knot. From the games I'd like Dark Predator and the predalien from AVP2010 and the final Kenner remake would be Lasershot, though NECA could still dive into the unreleased and repaints territory.

I like the prospects of what they can still do in the future. I trust NECA and I think they will make some great figures. I am not into this series so I will give it a pass. I am happy though because It will give me more room in the future for others. I am also getting some of the Dutch figures.

Aww thats sad that capcom wont let Linn and robo arm Dutch made, I guess its custom for now or I can wait till capcom change thier mind.

Not familiar with the story she's from, but I appreciate that they're doing a figure of a non-Dutch human character associated with the Predator franchise.

If they haven't already made one and I'm unaware of it, I'd love to see them make a figure of Alexa Woods some day.

So would I, with her cool alien lance and shield. Unfortunately, according to Randy on Twitter, she's not a character popular enough for NECA to develop and make money out of.

Still, if the fans are vocal enough, NECA has been known to listen now and again...

Considering the general opinion of the AvP movie... I have a feeling we'll never see her made. Also, there's no real repaint or reuse potential for her sculpt, so they'd have to recoupe all the development cost of the figure from one release.

Which begs the question: How are they going to retool/rerelease Machiko in the future? That's a brand new and unique mold.

They don't make their molds based on the the ability to re-use them down the line. Most of their figures feature unique molding that goes unused again unless they redistribute it. Machiko is such a frequently requested/demanded character that they can probably sell the quantity they want to without worrying about making their money back later by re-using parts for other things. The only figures they really re-use parts on are the predators and aliens because either it's the easiest and fastest way to get new figures out or because by design they have to re-use parts.

On another note, I think a frozen/batte damage/shackled AvP alien queen is not impossible.

People have sometimes requested the AVP version of the Queen so I could definitely see NECA getting to it eventually. I'm just glad they did the original Queen first, that thing is a beauty but sadly too big for me to have scooped up yet.

I cannot tell you how excited I am that we the fans finally get Machiko, however as someone else stated, I really hope she's a bit shorter than the other predator figures, would seem a bit awkward if she stands as tall as the predators.

Randy has confirmed she is shorter. The pic of all three is just a promo image collaged together showing all three figures.

Agreed. Right off the heels of the ultimate Ahab (which I spotted at Target yesterday.) Hopefully this means the predator release schedule us going to pick up. Been eager to finally have Michiko and Hornhead!

On a side note, I'm glad Hornhead has clean armor. I never cared much for the bloody variation that was shown off, though it wouldn't surprise me if it's double dipped in the near future.

Kind of makes me hope the Predator sequel dives into a Machiko analog besides how the new movie ended. So we get both.
