Yay!

Harbinger 08-22-2018 04:14 PM

Even though hasblow is making figs i doubt they will be half as good as these.

Forgot about that. Has Hasbro released any new details since the initial reveal of the license?

Or half as pricey.

There was reference to 20 dollar Overwatch figures found in Gamestop's systems, but we don't know what they are.

Hopefully we get some news at NYCC.

Oh cool, gotcha! I knew I didn't remember hearing anything about them at SDCC. Thanks!

Nice! Right after her animated short, too! (Say what you will about 'Shooting Star', but I most definitely like it a lot!)

If they are comparable to Marvel Legends then they will be half as good at a third of the price.

I love my Overwatch Figmas but if Hasbro produce OW figures at a similar standard to their other 6" figures I'll be swapping to them in a heartbeat.

Barnatoys 08-23-2018 12:12 AM

Won't miss this one as I didn't miss the previous. I can't imagine the price if they make a version with the Mecha but this version will do very fine. Looks amazing!

I liked that they showed the rest of the meka squad... I wish I got to see them in action! I want to learn more about them all asap.

hasbroherofan 08-23-2018 12:42 PM

These pre-orders just showed up on Gamestop's registry. Wondering what these are. The Hasbro figures maybe?

En Sabah Nerd 08-23-2018 02:41 PM

^^^
Unless those are the stupid pops because those are all the tank characters and their pops do lean closer to $20. Then again I'm pretty sure Gamestop labels pops as POP and not AF which is most likely for action figures. I'd really like if these were Hasbro figures but until anything official is shown it's up in the air.

Bo Ttef 08-23-2018 03:30 PM

the "videogames" label is how Funko breakdown their lines (Television, movies, videogames, etc etc etc) and the prices look more like the larger scale Pops + the overpriced Mekka (it's actually a Micro Pop (or whatever the keychain sized figures are) with a tiny DvA inside)

Figma Overwatch Zenyatta Photos and Details - The Toyark - News

http://news.toyark.com/wp-content/up...nyatta-002.jpg

MeLikeJinx 09-26-2018 04:44 AM

Wow. Figma actually chose Zenyatta next after DVA... that's super surprising.

I actually played 37 hours straight of Zenyatta when I was going after his Rapid Discord trophy which was the final one I needed for my Platinum... so I got to know him pretty well... he's pretty awesome... he can wreck a team so bad with his discord and you earn tons of XP using him.

I don't really like how they did the orbs floating around him though... just having them stuck to a clear ring seems like a cheap solution to me.

En Sabah Nerd 09-26-2018 09:28 AM

Zenyatta's my main and I'm also surprised he's next after D.va. I was under the impression that character-wise he's not one of the more popular heroes. It's also weird that they gave him the mudra hands he's shown with since I don't remember him ever doing those specific ones. Usually he's doing vitarka mudra with the index and thumb joined and the rest extended. In any case I'm sorely tempted to want this one and again I hope Hasbro reveals what they're doing with the license soon so I know whether or not I'll have any options.

ronriii 09-27-2018 05:05 AM

Max Factory perfectly executed how I would have wanted a Zenyatta figure to be made so I'm definitely getting this. I'm honestly just so surprised that Zenyatta would get the figma treatment, and so soon at that.

I would have guessed that Mercy, Sombra, Mei, or Hanzo would have happened before Zenyatta. I really want this one but it also depends on what else is available at the time because $80 for a 6" scale toy is pretty expensive even when it's my main guy.

Figma Overwatch Pharah Photos and Details - The Toyark - News

http://news.toyark.com/wp-content/up...Pharah-005.jpg

Harbinger 12-13-2018 07:53 AM

Shes kinda cool lookin’. They give her a green robot dog she could be the futuristic blue falcon,

ddarko 12-13-2018 01:54 PM

Ooh, that was unexpected. I might pick this up, just because the figure looks appealing. Wish they made a Samus figure like this one with an actual Samus head visible like with this one.

En Sabah Nerd 12-13-2018 02:48 PM

If Hasbro hadn't finally announced their Overwatch line I'd be all over this one. Pharah is one of my favorite characters and I always thought her design was toyetic but the Figma price is one damn hard pill to swallow.

Yea, they have been creeping up a bit. That being said, Figma tends to be better quality in comparison to Hasbro though. The paint work is usually spot on, design is decent, and the sculpt lines are usually hidden decently enough, and QC is usually good.

Whether those perks are worth $50 more, well... that is questionable for sure!

I know they make some fine quality figures (I've got a few) but since Overwatch doesn't use realistic designs I'm sure Hasbro can easily pull it off at a much cozier price. Even if the Hasbro figures are only half as good they'd be so at less than a third of the price. Except we've seen Hasbro's Mercy and it looks more than half as good as what Figma might do. I am confident that the Figma offerings will be more articulated but at that point I care more about getting three or four characters instead of one at a time every five months.

I mean Pharah here is closing in on $100 so I don't even want to know how much a Figma Reinhardt or D.Va's mech might cost.

Yea, definitely agree with you! I collect figmas here and then, but I am not always sure they are the best choice to put the money in. Every time I unpack it, I am always disappointed at the size of it lol. Some of them don't even come with too many accessories. I've gotten into the Revo line just because of that. Feels like more bang for the buck.
