I still say this is the kind of collectible you put away for 5-10 years.

Comedian 03-30-2018 10:45 AM

Funded!

Antony916 03-30-2018 11:21 AM

I'm so happy it is fully funded!

Comedian 03-30-2018 11:39 AM

Pretty exciting. Still shaking my head at the naysayers. These kind of things always go big in the last days after small movement in the middle. I think mine was in the 4850 area!

Now when I showed my parents the video of this, they asked where would I put this? I said" that's a problem I want to have".

Sithlord1963 03-30-2018 02:19 PM

Really glad this got funded for the US and Canadian backers.

NOW to see how they're gonna make this available in Europe.

DESTRO 03-31-2018 06:57 AM

I'm glad it got funded because it opens the door for other projects that I may back. Good job Star Wars collectors and congrats on getting something so awesome for your collection.

Tomax 03-31-2018 07:01 AM

question: what scale figs can you use with this barge?

Yeah, the barge doesn't do anything for me but, its very cool to see people are going to be able to get it. And excited for the potential of future projects (hoping for an epic scaled Galactus myself).

Synth 03-31-2018 05:52 PM

Awesome to see it got fully funded!
It's even over 6000 backers now!
Here's to hoping for many more epic Haslab projects!
A huge Marvel Legends Galactus would be amazing! At least 1/4 scale (approx. 18 inches). A Cobra Terrordrome and a full 4" scale diorama/playset of Mos Eisley Chalmun's Cantina would also be amazing! Maybe a Jawa Sandcrawler.
I would have jumped on the Star Wars Sail Barge if it was 10 years ago when I was collecting 4" Star Wars to it's fullest; or if this was the only way to get a Big Millennium Falcon. The Sail Barge is not iconic enough for me personally to add to the collection especially since it is going to take up so much space.
But I'm elated to see this is being made for everyone who wants one and also for the designers to see their project come to
fruition!

i must admit i had my doubts but i am pleased that i was proven wrong
still don't necessarily agree that a big company like hasbro needs to crowdfund but that's another topic for another day

i'm glad the fans that really want this are gonna get it now and be able to add it to their collections

Decon 04-01-2018 04:24 AM

I was going to get one on the last day of there were very close to the 5000 and just keep it MIB for 10 years. It will probably reach 7000 before its over so the market will be flooded. I don't have room anymore for a 4 foot box.

If it was the Xmen Blackbird I would get 2 or 3...

Haslab Flagg, lets do this.

10 ft would be better

Comedian 04-01-2018 12:31 PM

The great things the barge has unlocked is limitless. Transformers,GI joe,Marvel more Star Wars and even Power Rangers.

Mattk79 04-01-2018 02:29 PM

I'm this has been fully funded. Although I'm not interested in Jabbas sail barge, I would love to see a 6" (1:12) scale X-wing fighter and Tie fighters from ANH created from haslab.

Augustus_Cole 04-01-2018 03:53 PM

lol@ me now 're-thinking' my purchase...

i would probably just fill it with Pops.

MeLikeJinx 04-01-2018 08:09 PM

This is cool, but still not cooler than the Big Falcon or AT-AT IMO. Also... the Big Falcon got down to $80 at TRU on clearance IIRC and I got my Big AT-AT at K-mart for $40.

I don't quite see it as crowdfunding, I more see it like: there are some items that Hasbro knows wouldn't do very well at retail due to size and cost so they don't wanna produce as many as would be required were they to do a full retail production run, but they also don't wanna just put it up for preorder without a limit and do as many as they get preorders for, as there might not be as much demand as they thought and so not enough orders to fully make back what they spent on the molds and rest of the production, so this essentially lets them produce just as many as they need to for it to actually be financially worth it without having them sit in stores for years or having to worry about losing money on putting out a product that there wasn't as much demand for as they expected.
