I personally did not see much interest in this set from collectors. Wondering how much of this funding was provided by the "major" online toy distributors.

Online retailers only bought what was pre-ordered by customers. Those sales went towards the final goal. Not much interest? I guess you don’t frequent he-man.org.

Awesome news. I used the payment plan for super 7 so it costs me $780. BBTS is $799 with $4 shipping.

I see that it's covered under the $4 shipping but there's a disclaimer that the shipping will be calculated on dimensional weight so I'm wondering if it will actually end up being $4 or more. I can't imagine anyone shipping it out for $4 but if that is the case, I guess that means they absorbed the shipping costs into their markup. Oh yeah and there's going to be sales tax on it too.

Or just look at it as a costly no-hassle warranty. Since BBTS customer service is usually on point and Super 7's is clunky and frustrating to deal with at times.

Someone on He-Man.org contacted them. BBTS did respond by saying the $4 flat shipping applies to snake mountain as long as shipped in the lower 48 states of the United States. So they absorbed the shipping cost.

I paid in full using PayPal Credit. Interest free for 6 months.

Now I have to get on building a display base for my Castle Grayskull. :/

I’m thrilled for those that want it. It’s always great to not lose out last second.

For me, this was waaaaaaaay too pricy, especially being based on the atrocious 80’s playset and not the ominous lair from the cartoon. Hopefully, at some point the bone throne will be sold separately for those of us with a skeletor but no inclination to pay for a giant pile of chewed gum.

I noticed the preorder FAQ on Super7's website it now says the preorder deadline ends on Sunday June 2nd. I'm pretty sure it originally said the deadline was tomorrow Friday 5/31. So they extended the deadline a couple extra days, even though it's already fully funded? Why not extend it a few more weeks then to see how many more fence-sitters will jump in at the last minute? That's just more money for Super 7!

Maybe if both Super 7 / Mattel gets enough requests, they may extend it.

Surely the extended time can bring more excited fans over thanks to the new MOTU movie developments teased at Licensing Expo.

Well, officially put my pre-order in. Honestly hesitated at the checkout page due to the insane price. But then I looked at my Castle Grayskull, which I absolutely love, and went through with it. I feel like I would have regretted it if I didn’t go for it.
