I think that's it, besides the Toony Terror.

That sucks. The legal battle has been going on for years and it will probably be years until it's finally wrapped up. I'm extremely disappointed that we won't see a Part 8 Jason for a long time. On the other hand, I suppose I should be grateful that we're actually getting a Roy.

Hopefully, the NOES license will get straightened out quickly just so we get the VS Freddy to go with that Jason (I love the demon Freddy look from that film).

cambo 06-25-2019 06:52 PM

as far as I know "corpse Pamela" retro-cloth is still coming..
that makes-- Jason f v's j ultimate / Roy part 5 ultimate / corpse pamela retro all coming this year, and then everything is on a long and so annoying hold till legal case is finished. (thankyou miller and Cunningham)

I would have loved to hang out w' the NECA crew and take a look at their toys.
They have been putting out quality toys for a while. I recently picked up the TMNT Raphael and Leonardo 2 packs at my local Target and they look amazing. Looking forward to picking up Godzilla, Rodan & Mothra.
Also, keep your fingers crossed for King Ghidora. The guys from NECA almost always are able to come through for the fans when it comes to releasing items.

But they have to keep them as 2-packs for Target, while the game stuff soundsl iek they're always be con exclusives, and the movie stuff a mix of con sets and GameStop releases.

And here I am hoping for more comic stuff...

Just read the bad news on a horror site, i guess no more Jason/F13th figures from Neca :(

Nametaken 06-28-2019 04:13 PM

I thought earlier pics of that batman had a visor?

The visor is removable.

Vamp 06-28-2019 06:44 PM

that dolphin figure would be perfect to pair it with Aquaman :)

Thanks!

I am really looking forward to getting the Batman/Superman sets. I reread the comics last night. Pretty weird but they are cool because they are so far outside the normal. The sets are supposed to ship the week after SDCC correct? This is actually the first year I have snagged a NECA SDCC exclusive.

They START shipping the week after Comic-Con... takes them a few days to get everything boxed and out. I think the fulfillment center is in an old-folks home. The last 4 years I’ve gotten my Tmnt stuff three weeks after the convention.

Dear Neca.... i’ve Been a faithful and loyal customer this year... my wishlist is as follows...
Cartoon characters I want...
Bebop and Rocksteady (both mutant and punk forms)
Splinter and April
Baxterfly and cartoon mousers
Rock soldier two pack
Anything after that is gravy.

I'd say there's a good chance for each of those. Bebop and Rocksteady were revealed, and they have the Rock Soldiers molded for the Dimension X Set (whenever that comes out.

For April all they have to do is repaint the one they did and give her a new head.

Bearjew 07-01-2019 09:05 AM

Disregard

30" Alien Queen for $120.

18" Shredder for $120.

Will these two items be on sale at Target?

It's hard to make sense of the whole "It's just too expensive to do King Ghidorah" explanation when these two things exist.

None of the Targets in my area have a single NECA product.
How is Target their major retailer?

If Target is not carrying these items but the online stores are, why not make King Ghidorah and have him available online only?

I just don't understand.

Actually I have seen the Aliens Alien Queen at Target, and while it wasn't Shredder I have seen the 1/4 scale Final Chapter Jason at a different Target.

I notice your location is Texas.
I'm not trying to stalk (honest) but what general area?

I'm in DFW and the Targets here have had nothing for months.
Went to Portland, OR last month and found the same situation there.

I know NECA is saying that Target is their major retail space, but if they don't stock anything how can that condition exist?

Bearjew 07-01-2019 04:54 PM

My Target has veen very good at their selection and inventory. They have not recieved any Halloween Michael, the Powr Arm Terminator, or... I think that is about it. They gets stuff. Sell out, etc but they have done pretty well. I have NOT seen any 1/4 scale anything. I do anticipate that they will get the queen and other large items in stock. They did have the assassin predator once but only once. I think the problem is that the large stock items cannot be stock in mass. They get an item then have to sell ot before they can get more.

You’re thinking of it as “Target won't carry a big expensive new product.” When the answer is more “Target didn’t want to carry this product. Plus it’s big and expensive to produce.”

The Alien Queen is a years old mold that has a higher profit margin as development costs are likely no longer being recouped. As for Shredder, it’s TMNT and NECA's 1990 movie Turtles sell out and have a proven track record at that price point.

Target has over 1,800 stores in the U.S. which makes it NECA's largest outlet for product. In their view, they needed their major retail outlet to stock them to make it worth producing.

South central, just outside of San Antonio but that's as specific as I'll get.

I have 5 targets that I visit regularly in my metropolitan area in and around Salt Lake. The NECA aisle is almost always stocked. Gremlins, IT!, TMNT, horror icons, aliens, etc all rotated in regularly. The few times the shelves were empty, I was able to convince an electronics stationed employee to peek in the back and yup, sure enough... plenty of product.

Wondering how much is “product desert”, how much is selling out, and how much is lazy shelf stocking?

Smasher 07-02-2019 11:54 AM

I must seem like some insane person who doesn't believe anything NECA says about King Ghidorah. LoL

I'm just trying to make sense of it.

I agree that it feels off that they're not doing 2019 Ghidorah but I've moved on to hoping the door's not shut on his classic designs.
