If they do manage to get a Jack Nicholson Joker or Michelle Pfeifer Catwoman the prices on these will go crazy high (if they don't do a 2ok release like they did for Bluto) I can't really imagine not opening something up just for the resell- but I'm definitely tempted with this guy...

Mezco packs them in easy resale packaging. Open it up and enjoy!!!

tylerzero 01-15-2020 09:58 PM

Does it feature movie-accurate non-head-turning action?

I guess that works.

lol! i get the same thing with the gf. She complained at xmas this year...again....doh. I get stressed just trying to explain everything. I'm like, for start, you need to follow a dozen different sites, everyday, etc....
You can only do that if you love doing it.

AND THERE AIN"T NO WAY THAT BAT IS GETTING STASHED TILL XMAS!!! XDXDXD

No way dude! Tell the truth! What's going to be your excuse when it arrives?

"Uhhh, well I have to check it for QC issues just in case I need to exchange it within the 30 day window...."

"Uhhh, well, babe, you can get me a different toy that comes out closer to xmas...and I'll just open this right now, deal?"

"Oh shit, I just remembered, I promised my mom I'd take a picture and instagram it. She's been waiting a long time to see it in her feed."

I secured mine! Can't believe it!
Well it sure is an expensive figures with taxes, fees and transport cost to Europe but man!
Now, I really wish we will have the Burton villains to go with someday :D

Comedian 01-16-2020 05:27 AM

Seems dumb of Mezco to not make a ton of these. But what do I know. Glad I secured one. I just hope this goes somewhere. I’m so tired of not having a grand unified Batman film figure collection in the same scale.

The Adam west series by Mattel is not bad. We have a few holes, but at six inch scale these work.

The Nolan trilogy was been way over done, but at least we have choices.

The new dc universe is not bad either. Most wants are there. By a few companies.

The big issue is the Tim burton Batman and Batman returns. And yes, max shreck is a must.

And of course the Schumacher films of Batman forever and Batman and robin.

Can somebody fill these holes?

billykent1972 01-16-2020 07:01 AM

its on BBTS for 150 and sold out currently: https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Produ...Details/113657

I’m hoping that Mezco will do Adam West Batman, then I’ll have all my faves in One:12. I’m in the minority, but I disliked Bale’s Batman.

Yes it looks like it. That's why the swap out heads are the entire cowl.

Zorn88 01-16-2020 11:26 AM

It's my favorite Batman movie, and I would have bought that in a heartbeat, but there is no way in hell that is worth $110.

Well, the 6" phicen/tbleague is like $50 retail... no accessories, no license costs, nothing... this has a seamless body, capes, accessories, heads, Michael Keaton likeness licensing, batman licensing from DC, specialized tooling, AND the toy industry's typical 25%-35% markup profit to make it worthwhile, coz they aren't a charity...

$110 isn't all that bad.

zonedweeby 01-16-2020 01:04 PM

how long until the body disintegrates?

Depends on conditions it's stored in and the type of material used. I have electronics that have silicone parts that are decades old with no problem.

If it's a type of synthetic rubber, that can last near 100 years.

If it's just the cheapest material known to the Chinese factories, then it could last 6 months. I'm sure Mezco isn't going to go the cheapest route.

Don't display it under hot lamps 24/7 and you should be ok for the rest of your lifetime.

Plastic and spandex wears out as well, so at some point, all our collections will return to the dust.

I had a work meeting and couldn't try until later in the afternoon, around 4:00pm. Got waitlisted. Anyone had any luck with getting something from Mezco on the waitlist?

Dude! check bigbadtoystore right now! pre-orders opened back up again

evilekim 01-16-2020 09:33 PM

Website was a nightmare like everyone said, but I got one! So excited! I love my NECA one(ones) but I have always loved this movie, and I need this one too.
The new seemless body and movie likeness are probably the price hike.

I thought the Neca one was unapproachable unless you go HotToys size. I love my justice League tactical Batman enough to order this sight unseen. I sold my Neca one to a friend who can’t afford the Mezco one. So it’s a win-win for all.

Watched the movie on my commute home last night and it still holds up exceptionally well. Better, in fact, than it’s sequels and many of the late 90’s/00’s hero films.

It’s funny, but I honestly feel it’s as close as we’ll ever get to a live action BAS movie (yes, I realize the BAS was influenced by the 1989 movie, but I think BAF has had a greater impact on culture than 1989 film).

I haven't myself, but I have heard of others getting a waitlist item.

I got an email from Mezco saying my order was processing. I was on the waitlist. I think I ordered around 10:30 am PST if that helps you gauge where I was on the list.

I’m in the waitlist hopefully I get the same email you did. 👍🏼

BBTS apparently found some more and preorders open again.

baker 01-25-2022 11:42 PM

Two years later......

Mezco has the estimated release as Mar - May 2022.

Reminder that this figure was opened for PO in January of 2020. Just three months left until January 2023, then it’ll be 3 years of waiting for Batman to finish washing his tights.

I’ve given up on the figure. I don’t honestly think it’ll ever come out. Nothing about this figure warrants the delays. Yes, I realize Mezco is one of the worst toy companies when it comes to hitting release schedules, but 3 years is ridiculous, as well as insulting to the customer. I sent them one private message asking about its release date on Twitter and got blocked by them. Doesn’t instill confidence.

Yeah I get it. I gave up my waitlist on this figure. I think Mezco bit more than they could chew on this one. This has really complicated design due to seamless body and moveable eyes. That is very difficult to pull off on this size.
