I found an image of the bootleg frog I used to own! :D
I removed the figure from the skateboard. I believe it came with a large gray katana sword which I should still have somewhere.
I love picking my brain to remember which toys I had during my childhood and finding pictures of them and putting it all together. It can be very challenging when it comes down to bootlegs

I'm so glad Megalopolis is bringing back Madballs, as well as Barnyard Commandos, and then the first ever official Battletoads figures! ^^

First I want to thank you for making NEW MADBALLS action figures. I believe you guys are the first to have arms and legs similar to the MADBALLS cartoon (except they had no bodies) so that's really cool!

Question: If you can mix and match parts then you should be able to remove the heads easy enough, correct? :)

These look great and id love to own them. Unfortunately madballs doesnt strike enough of a nostalgia chord for me. Barnyard commandos and battletoads however. Different tune entirely.

You may be too young friend. Sounds more like you'd be in your late 20s to mid 30s? MADBALLS is more common for us old 40 plus year olds. No worries mate.

The Battletoads & Barnyard Commandos lines sound awesome! Can't wait

I'm just so happy to see obscure and/or forgotten toylines get second chances at life, like when Boss Fight Studios revived Bucky O'Hare, or when Zica Toys brought back Sectaurs. ^^

Sectaurs was cool to see for sure! I like the look of all BOSS FIGHTS figures but i haven't got any ...yet. I'm still waiting on 3 vintage toy lines to be brought back, C.O.P.S., DINO RIDERS, & INHUMANOIDS. Those were always favorites & I'm glad to see GIJOE as well as non transforming transformers get 6.5" lines too. Now for Visionaries with holograms still (lenticular) after would be dope too & in my top 10. :)

Those would be great to see, but I don't know how well Inhumanoids would do. I don't know how well today's kids can handle a toyline with that much emphasis on horror.

Yup. Glad I preordered a set. Those are awesome. Love the changeable play as well. I truly feel they need some sort of vehicle. :)

Hey were you charged for them up front? It says on the site you won't be, but then through checkout it seemed like you would be up front.

If you’re using PayPal they will charge you up front.

OriginalFire 08-19-2020 09:04 PM

I'm glad we are seeing new pics of these. I hope their pre-orders are going well.

Robogeek28 08-21-2020 06:40 AM

They're indeed nice, but I just have too much other stuff going on to start up a new line of figures.

Last Day for Madballs Action Figure Pre-Orders - The Toyark - News

dukefett 08-31-2020 11:15 AM

I don't know if they changed their policies, but since this is PremiumDNA, this is charged up front apparently. I didn't even realize it was a limited time preorder until this post at all either.

Comedian 09-01-2020 04:16 AM

BBTS has these up for preorder now. The set is $139.99. They do not charge till they ship.

Hmmm. Minimal markup. If I would've known that these guys would go up on BBTS, I honestly would have probably waited to pre-order from them. I assume I'm not the only one with that mentality, hence why the BBTS pre-orders went up so late. I'm sure it was intentional. Which is completely fine. I was getting these guys regardless. So having them already paid for also has its benefits.

I'm actually really excited for these guys.

deecee4 09-01-2020 10:22 AM

Yeah now that they're being sold at big bad, might get one or two of these guys.

I think if Hasbro made GOOD SOLID 14" inch tall "fully poseable" SOLID versions of Metlar, De'Compose, & Tendril, with GOOD versions of the human scientists (with ALL basic joints feet thigh knee hips shoulders elbows neck) with a good quick gimmick for on/off armor, EVERYONE would want them. As long as they didn't completely wreck iy by changing it it go well, I believe.

Me too heads pop off feature is the whole point of MADBALLS the heads only should be part of it. I still love 'em reguardless.

You wouldn't want them if their heads came off? Wouldn't that emulate the franchise/series more?

That's awesome! I want the top 8 characters. Sceaming Meemie, Skull Face, Horn Head, Oculus Orb, Bruise Brother, Swine Sucker, Wolf Breath, Lock Lips. :) That's already gonna cost $280 as is. Definitely won't buy the other characters unless they are $15 each

orntar 09-02-2020 02:01 PM

Megalopolis just posted a video and a bunch of progress photos.

I can't post url's as a new user.

Check out megalopolis premium web site.

Piggyv01 09-04-2020 07:41 PM

These are still available...I don't like that the limited order window and them being exclusive to Megalopolis were both bullshit. Doesn't inspire much trust.

They were initially exclusive to Megalopolis because they are the ones producing them. It’s their line of figures.

Wheeljack 09-04-2020 08:06 PM

On September 15th the pre-orders for Barnyard Commandos will be open!! :D

I know it's their line but I feel it's all been a bit misrepresented.
I caved and bought them on the last day...except it wasn't the last day.
Also, had I known they were only exclusive to Megalopolis for 4 weeks then available elsewhere, I'd've bought them from BBTS where I have a pile of loot to save on shipping to Australia.

ludovicotek 09-05-2020 07:41 PM

I received an email today from Megalopolis saying that the pre-sell was extended to 9/15. It’s the first I’ve heard of them formally referring to an extension. I hope their sales numbers are doing well.

HunterKnight 10-28-2020 03:14 PM

Seeing how Megalopolis is handling the customer service I've decided not to endorse anything until they correct their business practices. Many friends of mine are reporting buying stuff that is apparently in stock and waiting 9 weeks with nothing being shipped. And when you want to cancel something, they refuse. They want you to ship the item back with your own money and then they'll see what they can do. They are a shady organization with an "F" from the better business bureau.
