My two were canceled and I was given a $5 gift card. I had to approve probably 5 different date changes but this time there was no approval. Just gone. I am so beyond pissed. I woke up at 5am to order these in September. This also happened to many others and apparently they went right back on sale after the orders got canceled which is the most infuriating part. It's fraudulent as hell. Todd needs to help fix this whole mess.

Adam: I see this are the notes on your order by a supervisor "Batman collectible cancelled as there was an inventory concern and we were unable to fulfill by the anticipated release date. Unfortunately we have no insight into when the item will be available to reorder. Guest is welcome to check back regularly. As an apology guest is being sent a 5dollar GC through batch one per guest".

Adam: The reason for cancelling the order is there was an issue on the vendor's end that prevented us from fulfilling your item.

I had 2 standard and an autographed one cancelled. This blows. I went through and cancelled all of the preorders I had with them except any that were their store exclusives. They most assuredly won't notice and definitely won't be affected by it. That $400+ worth of stuff is nothing to them, I know, but I had to out of principle.

I received an email from Target this morning that said that the new release date is now January 7th. Who knows if they'll make this release date but this is the first update I've gotten in over a month for Y2 Batman.

Great Figure but Be careful
 

I actually got this figure after a cancellation to another figure and received it the other day . Its a pretty solid figure and the cloth cape does look great on it but when I took it out and assembled Batman it w/ the soft cape and arms I noticed a rather large gap in the right arm . After looking online it's common w/ the 1st run of these figures. It def will not emulate the batman holding the woman and there is word that that cover will be a new Dc Direct Vinyl statue but it's not confirmed yet . If you don't mind this arm problem and yours doesnt break after assembling as some have you can get the 3 Jokers wave Batman and use the arms from that figure after a quick prime and paint to use . They are the same arms . It is also rumored that there will be a future release of this Knightfall Batman but in all black to look like the Jason Fabok Batman and closer to the Keaton Batman from Burtons Batman but there are yet to be release pics . If these are positive and true I'm sure BarbaraGordon from the site will have the news for it .
Best of luck if you do get this figure because its great as the cover and also w/ the soft cape which hopefully brings more to all of us custom builders out in the world .

It's the same type as the kelly jones early batman from the very early 90s batman which def is close to looking like Bolland Batman

no , just the card is signed and was supposed to come w/ the print on the card so thats the only difference .

He actually drew Year Two in the mid 80's and did the homage covers as well but the real connection is from Cappullo and snyder drawing Batman the past so many years and they all worked together on Spawn and other projects and are collaborating w/ all of these other Marvel artists that are doing the Spawn , Scorched and King Spawn covers . So he isnt trying to make anyone think he is a HUGE contributor to BatMan as much as he just bought the action figure ip for DC and uses the sales of prior and current Dc comics to decide which figures to make .

Got mine yesterday and BOTH arms broke within seconds of taking them out of the box :mad:

Okay something I'm starting to see with these broken arms is grey pegs. While mine and others have white/raw colored pegs and those aren't broken.

Now I can easily have missed some pics, but I'm wondering if a specific batch has bad pegs that someone caught at some point.

Lol what? Todd is one of the biggest names in comics, batman is arguably the most popular character. What little work he has done on the character is noteworthy based on those two facts. Capullo working on spawn and later batman is coincidental and has zero bearing on Todd being linked to Batman.

The company I ordered from have said they have had multiple customers emailing them about the arms breaking and are going to speak to McFarlane Toys about the issue

How do you snap the left arm in on the Batman: Year Two figure? Me and a friend both have this figure and the left arm will not snap in! We are disappointed!

So how many seconds did that Target pre-order last this time?

Less than 5 and no cart holds. So even people that got one into their carts had it yanked back out b/c they couldn't complete their orders before bots could buy up every single one.
I was running Check4Change in 5 second intervals and it went from a can't find the product page to the product pages going live but both sold out.

EDIT: The Unsigned went up and I was able to get one. No clue how long it will stay in stock though. Max quantity you can order is 2 so I dunno how to tell what the total stock amount is?

Probably not worth the bother since so many have broken arms. After processing returns and paying shipping both ways, Target probably lost money selling this.

Thanks! I was wondering if I would have to go that route. I will try boiling the shoulder socket this weekend!
