So how big is Starro? From google, not counting the "facehugger" minions, movie and comics shows him about a building's size. This BAF would be around a human's size. Was there a Starro that's human size? Or is this BAF meant to be a human size representation of Starro? I have not read all the comics so this is a genuine question.

Starro will still be taller / bigger than the regular action figures, just not "building size" as in the second Suicide Squad movie.

Designincase 01-25-2022 11:24 AM

Assuming those diagrams are somewhat accurate, probably 10-11 inches fully assembled.

Cyclopswc 01-25-2022 11:31 AM

Thanks. So this is not like a bit taller than human size Starro that appeared in some comics. From the back of the box, it's a way undersized Starro that they expect you to use your imagination and forced perspective to believe that it's building size.

WTF? You work for Todd? You're very defensive of this Batverse line.

No, I don't work for McFarlane, just see no point in you posting about products you don't buy because you want 6-inch scale figures.

Again, for the last time, go buy the Mattel versions.

If money is burning a hole in your wallet, I'd be glad to relieve you of it. ;)

Haha! I said MIGHT. And itd take a lot more than discounted legends to get my money. :)

To a point. Marvel's only advantage is that in addition to their myriad of Caps and Iron Men, they have Spider-Man and Wolverine to release again and again and again and again, too.

Dr Kain 01-25-2022 08:35 PM

Something about that Ultraman looks really bad.

Also, nother Batman. God MacFarlane has no balls.

Possibly. But they also do that for the Batman figures from the Dark Nights multiverse, Batman of Earth -2 etc. Instead of Devastator, Dawnbreaker, etc. I think they are just trying to rope in casual folks and kids with the name since it's more recognizable.

I think for some of these the "real" names were too scary for family-oriented stores like Target and Walmart.

The Drowned
Murder Machine
Red Death

Eek!

And that 1% is pretty much the big boys.

When is he going to tackle D, E, and F list characters?

I couldn't tell ya Batman is top priority with this line so the D E F characters will have to wait.

Unfortunately, there are some here that are all too happy with the McBatverse being 99% Bat related & will by a crap covered Batman if they made it.

Agreed. Maybe when I turn 50 Todd will have finally put out a John Constantine Zatanna Etrigan in his red and blue outfit and a normal sized not 12 ft tall swamp thing.

In the time that people like you and Nimrod spend complaining about things that don't exist, you could've already bought the figures that do exist.

I was at an LCS this past weekend and saw multiples of these two figures:

https://i.postimg.cc/HxKQ4fHB/3ab294...ew-zatanna.jpg

They were both released in 2014. People have had seven years to buy them. That should be plenty of indication why McFarlane and DC are in no rush to make D, E, and F listers.

By the way, Swamp Thing can change his size.

I already have the Matt Ryan Constantine Figure but Id like a really good Comic figure based off either the OG Vertigo Comics or the Sandman Universe Version. I don't like that costume Zatanna is wearing I like her Traditional magicians outfit or her look from the current JLD Run. Todd could have done Etrigan right with his classic outfit but he decided to go with an outfit from a story barley anyone read.

And again, endless whining on a message board will not get the products that you want produced. Send your feedback directly to customerservice@mcfarlane.com .

Nimrod 01-26-2022 12:26 PM

Admit it BarbaraGordon, you work for the McBatverse company. It explains your defensive posture of the line. As for the crap MCU Eternals wave, I wouldn't touch that with a 10ft pole, they can go down to $1.99 & I'd walk by them. I only collect classic Comic based figures, not movie based. Since Hasbro took over the ML line, I've bought exactly 2 spiderman figures, the recent Retro classic Spidey & retro classic Black costume version, that's all I need of Spiderman. Don't need Cosmic, cyborg, robot, android or Mutated versions of Spiderman. Or video gameverse versions. Same goes for Wolverine, I have his Classic Yellow/Blue & black stripes version & his John Byrne 80s Brown version, have zero use for the other umpteenth versions, same goes for DP, I have his classic 90s FA version & that's it.

Whining about something that doesn't exist is just whining for the sake of whining.

There are plenty of McF figures I haven't bought. I have more of some characters than I do of Batman, Superman, or Wonder Woman.

If people didn't vent their frustrations on here, it'd just be one big circlejerk. "Hey this is great!" "Whaddaya know, I think it's great too!" "Hey, me three!" The conversation would get boring FAST
