Literally, Mezco is showing badass figures, like Ditko Spider-Man, Storm Shadow, The Batman, and people here are rather fanboying over these lame 5-point Scooby Doo figures.

Then it sounds like you've got plenty of stuff to keep you busy, man. Let us Scooby fans rejoice too!

I've been waiting for a Scooby Doo set to pair with the Toony Terrors figs. Unfortunately, these don't seem to match their scales. That said, if it's under $200, I'm getting it the minute it hits pre-order!

Breaking news: some people like hamburgers, some people like hot dogs!

Why are you so upset over what other people find exciting?

Freaking Ninja Turtles...

Guess I'm holding off on the Super7 Turtles a little bit longer then, until I see what these will bring to the table.

So you would gladly spend $180 retail for these?

I wonder what Mezco is going to do with their martial arts testudines to make them worthwhile.

optimuslivs4evr 02-20-2022 05:49 PM

The texture sculpting on the faces makes them feel dessicated. Almost fits more with the mummified Michelangelo. Not really my cup of tea.

Skoob 02-20-2022 05:56 PM

Not ordering anything new until something from previous year actually ships.

Smasher 02-20-2022 10:11 PM

That Scooby-Doo set is awesome.
I'm not gonna get it, but I loves it!

Can't wait to see more info on Spidey.

I'd be more excited about the TMNT announcement if 1) they addressed their countless announced releases that never went up for preorder 2) started fulfilling orders for late preorders and 3) showed any intention of expanding on the line beyond the four turtles.

So many Nunja Turtles lines in so many scales by multiple manufacturers. All I want is an awesome, all-encompassing line made by Playmates, in scale with the original line, but with more articulation, A La what Mattel is doing with Masters of The Universe: Origins. Figures based on the old toy line, comic books, movies, all of the various animated series, but all in the same scale, and in scale with the classic figure line. There are too many expensive, large TMNT toy lines now, and we keep getting the same characters. Super7 has variety, but they're huge, and $55.00 each. I'm sure Mezco's figures will be cool, but an under-$20.00 toy line like I described would do HUGE sales. Anyway...

Must. Find. Out. More. About The Batman and The Crow.

Regardless of how some people feel about them, The Loyal Subjects line is basically filling that void. The basic turtles weren't for me, but I think the other figures look solid for the price point.

Hot Toys will be making The Batman and the Batcycle.

I want that line more than any too….but when all this other stuff is done I’ll be glad it existed and I collected some of it. I get the feeling this is going to be a thing when it’s over, it’s over. I don’t see companies continuing to do very many 80’s cartoon turtles in 6 inch ever again. Once it’s winding down the playmates we want we hopefully start up. I’m so desperate for those!!! Hopefully the success of Origins will be the eventual catalyst.
