Thanks. Mafex T-800's Arnold Likeness is very good, it is so much better in hand than pics.

That Dracula is so good.

ddarko 08-02-2023 10:06 PM

Yeah, that Dracula figure is really good. I need to get the accessories pack as well, but other than the coffin, it really doesn't offer much accessory for an accesories pack, unfortunatly.

I was just checking out the Mafex Comic book lines which i don't follow and i don't know what is wrong with the Mafex Classic Thor, he seems like a good figure from the pictures but it is on discount on online toy stores. Mafex Classic Iron Man on the other hand is out of stock everywhere and really went up on value. I don't follow the classic Marvel (Avengers) line or Spider-Man line of Mafex. ( i only have Mafex Symbiot Spider-Man from the Sipider-Man Line, i just love the Black Spider-Man costume) I am a DC guy. I only follow one line from Marvel. What i follow is:

-Mafex Zack Snyder JL Line
-Mafex Return of Superman Line
-Mafex Batman: Hush Line
-Mafex Batman: Knightfall Line
-Mafex X-Men Line

I have some missing figures from the lines which i follow, especially X-Men line because i was late to the party. :/ If Mafex make a line out of Daredevil, i will follow it as well. I plan to get the Mafex Daredevil figure which was revealed at SDCC 2023.

Medicom Mafex is currently my favorite Action Figure company because of the High Quality DC & Marvel Comics Action Figure Lines.

Latest Haul. (:

The Figma Iron Man is long time grail for me. The Anime Style Robert Downy Jr. head is the selling point. I need Anime Tony Stark, Robert Downy Jr. in my life Desu lol

S.h.figuarts Tony Stark figure's head sculpt is phenomenal. The resemblance to Robert Downy Jr. is amazing, very well done so i must have it as well. lol I am a big Samurai Shodown fan so the Storm Collectables Nakoruru figure was necessary. I don't care about the alternative colored costumes though. I don't collect money from a tree. lol Mafex ZSJL Black Costume Superman might be my last chance for a licensed Hanry Cavill 1/12 Superman action figure, so i got it. It is a really solid action figure as well. You can't go wrong with Mafex.

Revoltech Deadpool was an impulse buy. Now, i have Deadpool, i wish i got Revoltech Cable when i had the chance. It goes for crazy prices in the second market now. :/ Neca Alf was a must buy as well. I used to watch Alf tv show on tv in the early 90s when i was a kid. Neca is such an amazing budget company btw. Their figures are good looking and cheap. Third Party Agent 47 and Joker figures are extraordinary, just so good.

SpasticPlastic 09-15-2023 05:54 PM

Joker and ALF are the clear winners there.

Yeah, they are not just good looking figures, but they also have some really cool accesories, but i am super happy with all of them.

Have you opened Guyver yet? That figure is absolutely incredible. We need Makishima and Lisker NOW.

I don't take my figures out their boxes. There are some really rear cases like Mafex Gambit though, i got 3 of the Mafex Gambit, took 1 of them out of its box as you can see in the picture in my previous post above.

They already made Guyver III (Makishima) in the Figma line, but there is always a chance for a reissue ofcourse. I already have Guyver III, but if Figma adds an extra head to the reissue or something, i would go for the reissue as well... I hope they don't do that, i am happy with my Guyver III.

A Guyver II (Lisker) would be awesome though, they haven't made one in the Figma line yet.

The new Guyver isn't a reissue. It's a ground up redesign. It shares 0 parts with the first try. Takaya actually oversaw the design himself. The first Figma Guyvers were pretty bad. It's like they didn't even try. In addition, they were tiny. I sold mine when they announced the Ultimate edition. Hell, the original Max Factory figures were better than the first Figma. Still have my G1 from that line.

This new Guyver figure poses like a dream. The articulation is truly innovative. They did some amazing stuff. You should check him out, man. If you are a Guyver fan it's like he just stepped out of the Manga/Anime.

SpasticPlastic 05-20-2024 04:49 PM

Nice! I was tempted by the Revoltech Flash figures.

Thanks for the info about the new Figma Guyver, i had no idea. I just got the new Figma Guyver for the extra new head. Figma figures are tiny compared to Mafex or S.H.Figuarts as far as i know btw. Did Figma go bigger with their figures in size generaly or they just made the new Figma Guyver figure bigger ???

They look good, don't they. Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi Flash figures are what got me into the Amazing Yamaguchi line. Revoltech really upped their game.

SpasticPlastic 05-21-2024 05:28 PM

I'm really eyeballing the Joker 1.5 version.

Yeah, another good looking Revoltech DC figure. I may get it as well. I am no completist or anything with the Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi line.
