What’s the point of eight weeks of Mando Mania if Hasbro didn’t announce Black Series toys for Carson Teva, Dr. Pershing, & Elia Kane?

I don't know what the heck is going on at the executive level, but the Mandalorian show has completely fallen apart in the last few episodes. What a car wreck.

The last nail IMO is the news that a substitute is being hired to play Cara Dune in place of Gina Carano. That IMO is very bad mojo.

If Lucasfilm doesn't clean up its act FAST, it could go the way of MCU.

Too little too late for me, the way they fired her was ridiculous, and Mando season 3 threw away all the goodwill the first 2 seasons built up.

I don't believe any youtube videos that are most likely clickbait BS. If it doesn't come from any of the reliable Scoopers or Trades its not happening

Mike Zeroh is the most notorious liar in Star Wars youtube, if he says something that isn't already public knowledge then it's false. One of my favourites was last year when he claimed Rosario Dawson was being replaced as Ahsoka.
At best he's a grifter ripping off gullible idiots, at worse he actually believes his BS and is completely disconnected from reality.

You don't have to take my word for it, google his name and you can find plenty of people talking about how he just makes everything up with receipts.

I live in England and I never even SAW either of the black series releases of the Speeder Bike and aftermarket they're like £200. Guess I may have to settle for trying to find TVC version...

Been hearing a lot of rumours to the effect that Favreau and co. had a different ending in mind but had to change it at the last minute for some reason, which sounds a lot like Kathleen Kennedy decided to throw her weight around again (which would certainly explain why "The Mandalorian" ended up taking a backseat to a female character in his own show).

I don't entirely hate season 3; I enjoyed the continued elaboration on Mandalorian culture and tradition, but...

But, as I meant to say, the whole thing just ended up being a live-action replay of Rebels' fourth season premiere (friendly, younger Mandalorian gives Bo-Katan the Darksaber, Bo rallies a disparate group of Mandos to retake the Mandalorian homeworld from the Empire, which effort is complicated by the Imperials having Mandalorian or Mandalorian-like troopers on their side and also trying to use the sacred beskar against the Mando freedom fighters)...

I sincerely thought all of those retro figures were released already. Does anyone really collect them? I've bought a couple for like $4 but not going all in for anything.

wait Mando Mania? New Disney Plus show? There's nothing Star Wars coming out soon...at least nothing with a release date

They’re trying to make “Fetch” happen, basically. Disney has shat the bed with every franchise it has lately, and drumming up fake interest is the best option they have right now. Not a good option, mind, but the best one they have.

Mando Mania isn't a D+ show it was how new toys were revealed on social media during Season 3 last year

Mandalorian Season 3 was a plane wreck and this time they used the whole airport, The only thing remotely interesting about it was the mines of mandalore. Everything else looked like it was put together at the last minute(which it probably was). If Jedi Luke had been at the Massassi Temple then people would buy his merchandise.

Mark hamill IRL is Jake, his Twitter behavior is a huge indicator. Legitimate Luke would use a man sized popcorn bowl, not do other weird stuff and wouldn't cry about what the internet told him to cry about.

Exactly my point. The first line of this announcement literally says:
"Another Disney+ series, another round of weekly reveals. This go around is Mando Mania which will feature new products each week on StarWars.com."

What "Disney+ series" is this referring to? Did Hasbro just copy/paste last year's announcement?

Re: Mando mania confusion - the article on front page was from March of last year. That was the when first product images of these items went live. Since those retro figures became available at Hasbro pulse recently, I just updated the article and put a note at the beginning.

The rest of the article should be read as if it was March 2023.
