On 12/13 I got an email that Skeletor shipped. Took a few days to get out of china and over the ocean. 12/26 it was on hold, waiting for clearance at Cincinnati customs. 12/27 it was delivered, even though the dhl website said it had JUST cleared customs and was en route to final destination. Seriously, it was ridiculous.

That being said, overall, it's an impressive figure, but I'm not AS wowed as I was with He-Man 2.0. The original Skeletor was pretty impressive. Accessories are great. The dragon is aces. Just really well sculpted. Almost makes me wish I invested in Panthor, but I have zero room for him. As it is, Skeletor, Beastman, and Merman will all be cuddling on a narrow corner shelf because my mancave is packed. Gonna have to start putting figures into rubbermade containers and into storage. G-D First World problems!!!

Thrilled. Worth every penny. Skeletor is the greatest Skeletor figure ever created.

Looks really good, definitely center pieces of any He-man collection. When did Panthor started wearing armors? I always found it unfair that Battlecat got armors while Panthor always only wear a mount.

MOTU Classics gave him the ram's horn helmet and Mondo gave him the leg bracers. I currently have him wearing the sabre-tooth helmet.

I'm finishing up a repaint of the Deluxe Skeletor Mondo Exclusive head. Very very happy with it so far. Just have to gloss the eyes and I'll post.

Appreciate it man. It was touch and go for a minute. My buddy who didn't call Customs got his only yesterday.

Wow! If it weren't for presumed lack of buyers, I would pick up this up for Orko Classic and Dre Elle. Then I would proceed to sell the heck out of the remainder of the set.

Huzzah! Managed to withstand temptation and not order Orko! While it looks great, prices have gone from affordable to ridiculous to out of hand. I’ll wait for the non-timed exclusive version that is just orko and the hands and that’s it. Unmasked face, all the stuff that will never leave the box… yeah… it’s gotten way outta hand.

They are out of their minds charging what they are for Orko. It's only 25 less than Deluxe Skeletor! Absurd. Pass.

I was waiting to see how all of this shook out before I posted about it. But Mondo didn't seem to care so here goes...

When I opened my Mondo Skeletor the cloth hood “point” (that’s stitched down and to the back of the hood) was stitched SUPER crooked. It also seemed to interfere with some of the posing of the hood. So I snipped the stitch. Immediately opened up the range. I was pushing the interior out to try and get more volume at the base. I noticed something felt off. So I turned it inside out. The stitching was totally torn at the seam. Straight from the factory! (See Pic1)

I repaired the seam and wrote Mondo. They were cool and sent me a fresh hood. I turned it inside out to make sure everything looked good…strangely, the replacement was torn too! (See Pic2).

I got curious and asked my buddy to look at his. He turned his inside…Lo and behold his was torn as well. (See Pic3)

I suspect that every single cloth hood included with Deluxe Skeletor is torn. Y’all check. Turn your hoods inside out and push out the seam until you can see the stitching. I wrote Mondo about all this. They asked me one question,”So do you need a third hood or do you want to return the figure for a refund?”. Brilliant guys. Brilliant.
