I believe between the 2 days, the motu stuff was the fastest sellout. I guess these will be in store as well, but most of my Walmarts no longer carry motu….so if not for online I’m out of luck….like so many I guess. Sometimes the exclusives come back up when they get close to ship date. I hope this happens here.

I lucked out. I was driving home from work and glanced down at the time. It was 8:58. Took me a few seconds to remember what I was supposed to remember to do at 9. Pulled my phone out, got on the app and ordered all 4 MOTU figures. I had no problem, so I put it out of my mind. Got home and saw the holy hell being raised across the web. Yikes. So there's the secret. Order while driving on the interstate at 75mph in a zone with spotty at best internet connectivity.

No, the secret is being a Walmart+ member, or that's the rumor going around. That they can order early.

I just had to look up what a Walmart+ member is.

I made a custom shopping checklist before the event, and once they went live, I simply clicked add all to cart and immediately checked out before 7:01. I got my confirmation email a few seconds later, and went back to the con page to see what else might be left, only to find all the motu items were gone. I felt pretty lucky, but that was ridiculous.

Now of course....the next part of the game. Will they actually ship? I have about a 50/50 win rate there, as of recently, most of my preorders have been getting canceled just days before they are about to ship.

And then there is the curious case of cel-shaded Spider-Man (from nearly 2 years ago.) He's still listed as not canceled, but rather, "delayed," in my purchase history. Maybe one day Walmart...right?

I did the same thing for my order of the two Snake Men. Had everything up and ready to go before it started. Decided afterwards I might want to get Krang...and I was surprised he was already gone not even a minute later. Moss Man lasted a little bit longer but not much.

I had a WWE Superstars Vader pushed back then cancelled this year. I still have open pre-orders for Classified Retro Card Storm Shadow and Zartan from 2022 with the status of delayed, even though they've been back in stock on their site. I don't want to cancel them because they're price matched, but I highly, highly doubt I'll ever see them.

I'm reminded of my mom's frustrations ordering MOTUC from Matty Collector for my dad when he was at work back in the day.

Holy fucking shit that was nerve racking because their website was screwing up saying payment wasn't processing due to a technical issue. Mattel needs to stop hiring assholes that don't know computers.

well wasn't it earlier this month that Rokkon was announced and ready for pre orders on Mattel creations on day one. and then all of a suddent it ended up out of stock sold out in an instant. Seriously.

just a few minutes ago just now I pre ordered the new Sky Clone Origins figure for the heck of it. it was available at this time which I'm surprised. Guess not everyone is a fan of the character or whatever?

new Sy Klone/Skyclone Origins figure is loaded with battle features. dang lol. his red hula hoop thingy, his torso can be raised to spin, plus tornando hand accessories, a shield. sheesh lol.

dunno what "glitch" problem you had that you claim on the Mattel creation website when trying to pre order or order something.

well whatever. I pre ordered Syklone at the right time during 1 pm as soon it became available.

then later on during 3 pm pr during 4 pm earlier today its suddenly sold out which other people probably snatched up more than 1 figure of Origins Syklone. Rokkon became sold out right away when it became available at the time a couple of weeks ago this month.

Either people are really fans or ROkkon or that scalpers.hoarders would buy up bunch of ORigins Rokkon to screw people over. That's how I see it.

on Ebay, Origins Rokkon is like up to 50 to 70 frikkin bucks already
