Let's see. In order to organize my wishes to put them more in line with Mattel's future plans instead of their current plan:

DCIE Club- I would like to see this organized by themes. Each year is a new theme. Like, year two will be Rogues, or Secret Six. Where they make a point to finish off the S6, and mix in a couple non-themed figures so as to not completely turn off people who collect only heroes.
Such as: Vandal Savage, Osiris, Ragdoll, Speedy II, Jeanette, Cheshire, Impulse, Steel with the oversized figures being Killer Croc, Beast Boy Gorilla form (A minor rework of Grodd would do), and Blue Lantern Brother Warth, with Doomsday being the subscription exclusive (or flip Doomsday and Warth).
I think a set up like this would be a very nice selection,a nd a nice layout. Most, if not all are fairly to really obscure characters that have little chance to get into a normal DCUC wave, let alone the new focus on A-C string characters.
And basically, we can continue along these lines. With the next year following a different theme, like the Marvel Family. Again mixing in some off theme characters.

For retail:
Batman Legacy- I would like to see this continue, exactly along the path that it's on currently, focusing on filling out the Batfamily. Three per wave, with one or two twopacks every couple waves.
Individual release: Stephanie Brown/Batgirl, Suit and Bowler hat Riddler,Artic Chammo Batman (Bat variants don't bother me when they make sense like a snowsuited bats. I'm sure he's been like this in the comoics somewhere), Nightrunner, Mad Hatter, Huntress, plus a bunch. There are always variations of Batman to work in, too.
Twopacks: The Question (Montoya) and Batwoman, Oracle and Batgirl (Cassandra Cain), Batman and Robin (Grayson/Damion), and follow along themes that make sense.
And here we shunt the large characetrs like Croc into the DCIE Club as oversized figures.

Green Lantern Legacy- I think GL is popular enough and well known enough now to support it's own perminent DCUC line, and will only increase when the GL: TAS rolls out with it's show and toyline. Follow along the Batman Legacy example of releasing individual waves of three, and a wave of twopacks every so often. Though, not as often as Batman (This coming from a hardcore GL fan).
Singles: Hal Jordan has enough variations to keep him in the line, since I doubt now they'd do one without him showing up every other wave or so. Parallax, modern costume, Reboot costume, Red Lantern (Straight repaint of the Black Lantern Hal), Blue Lantern, flight suit... this is not to say I want lots of Hals... (I barily like him) I'm just accepting the fact he's joing to be the core character and get tons of variants. Plus, there's all the other characters. All the other aliens, and all the other Green lantersn, and other corpsmen.
Twopacks: Saint Walker and Green/Blue Combo Hal, Warriors Guy (Blue costume) and Marine Corps John Stewert, Red Lantern Mera vs Black Lantern Wonderwoman.
Like Batman Legacy, shunt the oversized figures into the DCIE oversized program. Brother Warth, Sinestro Corps Mongul, Bleeze (She should come with two sets of wings. Her skeletal wings, and then a set of lightplasma construct wings). There really are more oversized Lantern characters than there are others. Too many to mention.

As for the new DCUnC line... since Mattel hasn't really commented on it, I don't know what to expect. They said it's not going to be straight forward waves like DCUC was, so I really don't understand what that means.
But I personally feel the Legacy stratigy can carry over to a Justice League Legacy line.
If they went this rout, I think it should be a larger toyline than Batman or my proposed GL. Maybe five figures at a time (But that still follows a wave format, so I really don't know what it means. But I have a feeling whatever they do will still be more like traditional waves than they let on.)
But for this line, we see the more heavy hitters of the DCU. Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Luthor, Cyborg, Brainiac, as well as fitting in a few of the second stringers, and varients of the big names (GIVE US WALLY, GODDAMMIT!)

So? That didn't stop them from making an oversized/CnC Bane, even though he already had a figure in DCSH.
And the fact he had a DCSH figure didn't stop the fans from wanting one that's a better scale since the first was too small.

Mongul as is is way too small, nor is he even remotely accurate. The colors are wrong, very little of the sculpt is even remotely like Mongul, and it only has one ring where as Mongeul has a ring for every finger.

I can want a better, larger, and more accurate mongul if I want to! :p

most are like that Lex Luthor from Kryptonite Chaos is the same as Orange Lantern. The C&C's are generiac Arkillo, Validus, and Kilowag are the same just different colors and heads

That... has absolutely nothing to do with anything that I said. What are you even talking about?
And if you're not talking to me would you mind quoting the original poster you're responding to, to avoid appearing like it's directed to me?

And anyway, I can't speack for Validus, but you obviously don't have Kilowog or Arkillo. The two absolutely do not share any parts beyond their legs. Their proportions may appear simular, but they are not.
Arkillo is a tad more squat, and a tad bulkier. Their hands and forearms are most definately different pieces, their heads are different pieces, their upper torsos are different pieces, and their neck details on their torsos are definately sculpted differently.

And the Orange Lantern Luthor is not the same as the powersuit Luthor. He's a heavy retool. Skirts and upper modies are different. And dispite being sculpted in the exact same expression, and the exact same size, theirs enough minor differences in the details in the heads that I'm certain Orange Lantern Luthor got a new head too (I'm not completely confident, but it lacks enough details to make me think it is).
So either you don't have these toys, or your observation skills need improving.
But I still have no clue as to what this has to do with anything I said.

CMIII 11-05-2011 09:24 PM

forget what I said. You see them different then they are (even if I see the as just a repaint)

Uhm, no. I am not seeing them differently than they are. I'm seeing them *as* they are. Arkillo is at least 75% new tooling over Kilowog. That's not an opinion, that's a plain simple fact.
And Orange Lantern Luthor is at least 50% new tooling, from the standard powersuit Luthor.

And again, they have absolutely no relevence to anything I've said in this thread, so I still don't know why you even brought them up.
This conversation has shown me you're either have no idea what *you're* talking about, or you have no idea what *I'm* talking about.
Or you're embarrissed that your mistakes got pointed out to you.

Either way, this conversation isn't worth my time, if you're not going to bother to make relevant or correct statements.
Adieu.

Scarecroodle 11-06-2011 02:33 PM

We still need an updated Scarecrow and Killer Croc, not to mention all the poorly scaled characters. Also really hoping to see the Sinestro Corps bulked out, especially given how many GLs we have at this point.

Now that Club Infinite Earths is coming out I'm hoping to see a lot of supporting cast members show up.

Tossing some random picks out there:
~Business suit Lex Luthor
~Amanda Waller
~Granny Goodness
~Live Wire
~Dream of the Endless
~Death of the Endless
~Miss Martian
~Mxyzptlk (silly that we now have Bat-Mite but still not him...)

Would also love to see Watchmen and Wanted (comic, not terribad movie) characters get some love >_>

Teen Titans: Wondergirl, Starfire, Miss Martian

We already have Starfire from a 2pack, unless you mean something different?

Yes! That Mongul was hilariously undersized. I didn't even notice that until finally reading BN earlier this year at which point it was a complete wtf.

CMIII 11-06-2011 02:48 PM

I would say there needs to be Upscaleing of several characters. Clayface, Parasite, and Doomsday.

I think Miss Martian is going to be Part of the Young Justice figures sets that are getting released if not maybe someday she will be.

The fully Bulked out Sinestro Corps would be Nice so Far Sinestro (with varients), Karu-Sil, Romat-Ru, Cyborg Superman, Low, Maash, Batman, Scarecrow, Monguel, Arkillo, and Despotellis. It would be nice to have Amon Sir, Fatality, Lyssa Drak, Muur, Vril Dox, Yellow Lantern, Ampa Nnn, Superboy Prime, Sinestro Corps Anti-Moniter. The Red LanternCorps could use a little bulking as well

If you don't mind him being little more than a cheap statue, the DC Direct Blackest Night Mongul is a great stand in, to stick in the back of a Sinestro Corps display. Aside from very poor articulation, his only problem is he's bigger than Arkillo. (but not by much. Some characters work better and are easier to forgive when they're *too* big, than when their too small. Mongul is one of those.)

For that matter, DC Direct Saint Walker, Kryb, Indigo-1, and Sapphire Wonder Woman also make decent stand ins (Wonder Woman being just a tad larger than the average DCUC figure makes her perfect scale between Diana and Carol)

Definately agree on several parts. Plenty of characters need upsizing. Barda could easily stand having a new toy that's a head taller than everyone else. Maybe they could pump her up with some accessories (Or an Oberon mini-figure) to justify an oversized pricepoint. Clayface is a great candidate for an oversized figure, too.

And I also agree that the Sinestro Corps need some bulking out. But not as badly as the other corps. We still don't even have Saint Walker or Indigo-1 slated yet.

One thing I have to say, I really like the DCIE having an oversized figure stop to make up for discontinuing the C&C figures. And being sold directly to the collectors now means they don't have to try to find the happy medium of what hardcore DCU fans want, vs what they can successfully market to the casual buyers.
Granny Goodness popping up in a couple years wouldn't surprise me at all. As a C&C though, I'd have been shocked.

Sadly Wave 20 is the Final Wave. Then its only DCnU. But I love this Idea.

JLA: Elongated Man, Wally West Flash, Rocket Red, Gypsy, Fire, & Ice
Teen Titans: Wondergirl, Starfire, Miss Martian
Captain Marvel Family: Captain Marvel, Jr., Tawky Tawny, Shazam the Wizard, & Black Alice - DC could let the family lie at just the three they've made to date, but the whole set would seem pretty cool.
Metal Men: Lead, Tin, & Platinum - many people will balk, but anyone who already owns Mercury, Gold, & Iron are fielding only half a team. The announcement alone would sell a lot of peg-warming Wave 16 Mercury figures.
Secret Six: Scandal Savage, Rag Doll, Jeannette
Batman Family: Alfred Pennyworth, Comics Commissioner Gordon, Dick Grayson Batman, Red Robin, Damian Robin, Red Hood, Ra's al Ghul, Talia al Ghul, Oracle, Batwoman, Huntress, Ventriloquist w/ Scarface, Wrath - Figs from various DC Direct series have filled many of the gaps, but so many of these figs are severely lacking in articulation or are out of scale
Superman Family: Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, & Steel (Natasha Irons)
Blackest Night: Brother Warth, Saint Walker, Red Lantern Guy Gardener, Sinestro Corps Superboy-Prime, Indigo-1, Munk, Star Saphire Fatality
New Gods: Granny Goodness & the Furies (various)
Super Friends: Bizarro, Mxyzptlk, Wendy, Marvin, Wonder Dog, Rima the Jungle Girl
Super Powers: None - The Legacy Mr. Freeze & 2011 NYCC Penguin should round out the entire line-up.
Earth-Three: Jokester, Quizmaster, Talon, Three-face
Suicide Squad: Various
Miscellaneous: Solovar, Vandal Savage, Emerald Twilight Hal Jordan Parallax, Mirror Master, Clock King, Garth / Tempest, Doctor Light, others?

Wave 20 isn't the final period just the final of the Current line much like DCSH they are ending them. Then Mattel is doing DCAS (DC All Stars). Im wondering if its going to be like the current All Stars line. Mattel signed a further deal to continue the line but they are going to Release 4 figures per wave with the CIE figures 6 inch every 3 months and oversized every 6 months.

The Red Lanter, Blue Lantern, White Lantern, Black Lantern, and Indigo Tribes could use more figures. So far (not counting the DCAS & CIE) Red Lanterns (3), Agent Ornage (1), Blue Lantern (1), White Lantern (1), Black Lantern (3), Indigo (1) oddly the leaders of 5 Lanterns groups arent even out yet (Larfleeze and Atrocitus are due out next year)

Yeah I saw that but this guy is saying they are only releasing four per wave. I thought they just had four so far

cabrican 11-08-2011 02:39 PM

I would like to see:
Lashina
Gilotina
Mad Harriet
Granny Goodness
Bernadeth
Build a figure Stompa (Kalibak size)

CMIII 11-09-2011 09:32 AM

The way it reads is 4 per wave. Which is down from DCUC that ranged from 5-9 per wave (counting varients).

So there they are – the FOUR amazing figures that make up the first mix at retail. It's been an awesome year for the DC Universe line and with the DC Universe Club Infinite Earths program on Mattycollector.com and the DC Universe All-Stars line at retail, 2012 is going to be even better!
