It's good to hear Urban Collector is cool about that because I was thinking about getting those 2 predators and the hound when I preorder the last 3 Lost Predators.

Well, the bad news continues. Classic Predator, it turns out, was incomplete. The plasma caster was there but one of his necklaces, the one with the animal skulls was not there. I checked the floor of my work area, the blister pack the figure came in and the shipping box to no avail.

So it seems I received 1 damaged figure and 1 incomplete figure. I didn't even want to get into the hound as who knows what may or may not have been wrong with that.

After making this discovery I called Urban Collector this afternoon and got someone on the phone. During the conversation I was told that the series 3 Predator assortment sold out as of yesterday; the offer of an even exchange for the damaged Elder Predator was premature and the representative apologized.

Seeing as someone made the mistake of offering me an even exchange for the damaged Elder when there were none left, I was offered the option of a full or partial refund. I told the representative I would think it over tonight and call them back tomorrow but after considering the bad luck I've had with this shipment I think it's best to take them up on the full refund offer as the representative felt this was the best and easiest option for all parties concerned.

If they keep to their word regarding the refund then I probably will order from Urban Collector again at some point. They have been communicative via e-mail thus far and seem to care about their customers.

It's too bad that NECA has not been communicative. Maybe that will change but I have my doubts at this point that I'll be hearing from them.

I have no idea USAgent27. I checked BBTS, all sold out. I got my Snake Predator for a good price over on the Amazon Marketplace, maybe someone over there might have a deal?

I'm sure the scalpers observe what's going on here. Series 3 has been gone from the store shelves for months and when I found the Urban Collector special I wanted to pass along the news to fellow Arkers who were looking for these figures.

i have a local TRU that has stuff from years ago so i'm going to try them. if not i found a couple of places.

I've used Puzzle Zoo to order my predator shaman, Tracker, Falconer, Stalker and mask off city hunter. They have descent prices especially if you use the 15% off of a 40$ purchase. They have the Snake and Guardian predators also but I think they might cost a little more $.

I would check a local comic shop or toy shop. The one near me is how i'm getting all my older predators. Prices are very reasonable and they take pay pal :)

They've got a lot of awesome neca stuff. I'm tempted to get the jessica alba figure from sin city, but her face is more than wrong

my lcs kinda sucks...they stopped stocking minimates and MU...yet have tons of dc direct figures that never sell

My unmasked City Hunter has weak ankle joints. I have to get him balanced just right in spite of the figure stands I have him standing on. Thankfully the feet have not come off of any of the NECA Predators I have.

In other news.....

The series 3 Predators I got from Urban Collector are now on their way back. UPS came by and picked them up which saved me an extra errand to run.

I decided to take them up on their offer of a full refund due to the problems I ran into. Broken and incomplete figures are not acceptable for my collection.

Now it's up to Urban Collector to refund in full what I paid once they have gotten them back per the discussion about it. Hopefully they'll keep their word.

I'll keep everyone posted as to what happens, be it good or bad.

picked up my first Predator today...Classic Predator cloaked. used the $5.00 off coupon too so he was only 11.97 with tax

Urban COllector no longer has the Series you purchased available. I wonder if it has to do with your situation or possibly all of their Predator figs were messed up.
The cloaked classis is really awesome I got mine a few weeks ago. Where do you get that coupon?

I have no idea if it has to do with my situation or not. It could be they sold out of them.

I got an e-mail from Urban Collector this morning stating they'd received the figures back and that they were going to give a full refund back to my credit card of the entire purchase price, including shipping. I checked just a moment ago and that has not yet happened.

It could be that the coupon was a promotional for Reward R Us members to buy something in-store as using it online wasn't an option. I used mine last night to pick up some more GI Joe figures as the store I was at was out of Predators.

The masked classic Predator i was supposed to get was replaced with a Battle Damaged Classic Predator from wave 2.....arghhhhhhhh now to try and deal with the ebay seller..

i was so nervous moving his limbs

There are several reviews showing the elbow and knee joints seem to be quite fragile. It's a shame that these defects are so prevalent because the Elder is a cool looking figure.
