Anyone know the price of the comic ones? I was thinking they would be the standard 8.99 or so, but I see on TRU online they have a couple for preorder at 14.99. Wondering if that is the typical TRU markup or just a mistake

I believe the ones on the TRU website are exclusives. They come with a comic book so the price is a bit more. They are not the standard release being found in stores.

Yeah the ones I saw at Target were same price as the Toon Turtles.

If they were releasing all four with comics I would definitely get those versions. Though as-is I'll probably just get Raph and call it a day.

Never read a turtles comic just grew up with the original cartoon and figures

I found the latest wave yesterday, just no Comic version Mikey. They do seem to be popping up everywhere now though...

I've only read a few of the original comics, but they are awesome because they have a Film Noir sense of style to them. The fact they are in black and white also helps.

Still haven't seen them in stores though.

My brother and I bought a couple of the comics when we were little. We had this idea to invest in them to make money, ending up selling them a week later for candy and some other small stuff, lol

theres one Leo on Amazon last time I looked but for like $150. Best bet is just actively watch ebay until one pops up

Since the movie came out everything spiked up, lucky for me I got Ralph the only one I was missing for $80 last year. GOOD LUCK.

I assume he means the comic turtles with the red bandanas.
