I passed on Guile because the paint apps were all messed up and he was the last one. I'll find em next time I'm at TRU. I wasn't really interested to get Seth and El Fuerte. They will be releasing M. Bison vs Akuma and Chun Li vs Vega. Both must gets for me.

Great pics, the SF figures look much better than I thought they'd be. Can you give us a brief review on each and maybe more pics?

Symbiote 10-13-2011 08:57 AM

They go for $15 for the set of two figures. 16 points of articulation. Single jointed knees & elbows. Knees, elbows, feet rotate 360 degrees and can move up and down. The articulation is very similar to the cap america, iron man and thor figures. Some of the joints can pop off though. My ryu's right calf is loose and I was trying to put sagat in the pose of the tiger knee and his left leg came off. They pop back in though. No real accessories too. All figures come with two sets of hands, open and closed fists. All and all, worth getting if you want to display the mu with these guys. They are 4" scale so they are slightly bigger.

The larger scale street fighter figures are better in detail, paint apps and articulation but these will suffice as I only try to collect everything in this scale.

Found a pic online

I completely forgot just how bad the G.I.Joe SF figures were. The new Guile is sooo much better (especially the 2nd release version that's pictured).

Symbiote 10-14-2011 08:10 AM

Here is some more mvc fun times.

Awesome pics and im sure that im not the only one considering picking them up because of you even though I thought they looked like trash.

TheLoudMaster 10-14-2011 09:09 AM

Got any static pictures, Symbiote?

Maybe some scale comparisons with whatever you got lying around?

No, you're not.

I thought these looked like shit when we saw the earlier images, but they look a lot nicer to me in these pictures... I'm in. I have to get Ken (obviously), Blanka, Sagat, Ryu, and Guile, now.

vampireheart 10-19-2011 09:42 AM

I got a couple the other day, I knew going in that Jazwares was doing these and Ive had experience with their Terminator stuff and an A-Team figure because of a custom i did and i have to say they are pretty good for Jazwares, i was expecting really crappy articulation but they aren't bad, Don't expect Revoltech or Neca but knowing what you're getting and not expecting G.I. Joe status helps. Im in for this line, they look awesome on the shelf.

So Since we dont have one yet and i dont know how much interest is in this. I like these figures and think im going to start investing in the Jazwares Street Fighter figures, I dont know what figures ill get, probably the ones i like but depending on funds an whats also out at the time priority will shift. Long story short im going to start a checklist for this series of figures lets see how long i can keep it up.

Street Fighter (Classic)
Round 1
[ ] Ryu vs Sagat
[ ] Ken vs Blanka

Round 2
[ ] Chun-Li vs Vega
[ ] M. Bison vs Akuma

Street Fighter (Modern)
Round 1
[ ] Guile vs Abel
[ ] El Fuerte vs Seth

Round 2
[ ] Ryu vs C. Viper
[ ] Ken vs Rufus

I want to get guile, c viper, chun li, bison, vega and akuma. I wish they did charlie and zangief. I hope they do a dark stalkers series too.

I posted these in the other thread but I'll post them again. Static shots with other figures such as star wars, gi joe and other mu for scale purposes for those that are curious on how these stack with the other lines.

Im definitely getting the SF2 fighters and definitely Akuma

omega145 10-19-2011 01:09 PM

The more I look at that Ryu with his silly eyebrows and that Ken with the he man head, the more I now dont like these. I gotta see these in stores. The action shots were great but these pics dont do much for me. The Sagat looks pretty cool because of his size.

CLASSIFIED 10-19-2011 01:11 PM

I ordered a set from TRU.com, hope they show up today!

BlackMagnus 10-19-2011 01:14 PM

Really cool pics Symbiote, I might have to give these guys another look.

CLASSIFIED 10-19-2011 01:15 PM

I especially like the pic of Guile next to Joe Guile.

Symbiote 10-19-2011 03:22 PM

The gi joe ones look funny to me. They were good when they were first released but now all they look like to me are just another gi joe figure.

CLASSIFIED 10-19-2011 06:09 PM

Mine did come in the mail today and they're pretty fucking awesome.

How bout now?

Kobe 10-20-2011 04:59 AM

^ still nothing, man, you should just copy the image url instead of the whole link, i think...=)

Darkspeed 10-20-2011 08:50 AM

These new SF figures are pretty good, but I'm not sure if I would go in for them... I prefer the old SOTA figures, Sakura was my favorite. But it's cool they are more in scale with the MU figures, for the MvC fans out there! :P
