You could just use the Wolverine and black Spdier-man from the secret wars packs. But we need some Sentry, Iron Patriot, Ares, and Ms. Marvel (who's got to be the easiest franken-figure ever), and BullsHawkeye

-70's/early80's Avengers
Right now We have Cap (secret wars pack or Invaders pack), Ironman (single card, secret wars pack), Ms. Marvel (classic or modern single card version), Black Panther, Giant battles Goliath, with Thor and Hawkeye coming in later secret wars packs, Vision is coming on single card. Leaving only Wasp, Scarlet Witch, Hellcat, Tigra, and maybe Beast.

Utopia set- part 1
Dark X-Men Daken(mimic, omega, lower arms, wolverine head, clawed hands.), Dark X-Men Emma Frost(same arms as dagger), Cloak, Dagger(same arms as emma), Mimic (angel body, new lower arms same as Daken, and Omega, new head).

Utopia Part 2

If they made all these sets, I'd be forever broke, but it'd hit every character that I want with a couple populars to push them, and keep the flow going. Plus single carded variants from all these parts could do wonders too.

Great picks man. One thing though... Ronin can hold his sword in the back of his belt, and that's a more Ronin way anyhow. Why add a sheath?

I think Dark Avengers would be super easy. The Ms Marvel/Moonstone is a no-brainer. Sentry should look good in the Guardian buck with a cape and long hair. Iron Patriot they could do with a couple easy tweaks to their new Extremis mold. I'n fact, with their mandatory re-use of molds, I would put money down that that's what they do. Hawkeye is another super-easy one using the current Hawkeye with a new head and darker wash.

He and Blade would both be nice to have something that doesn't bend their swords to heck.

X-Men!!! Any and all forms and variants...alot of people listed alot of good sets, but my favorite arc would have to be:

Phoenix Must Die! Set 01:
Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Wolverine, Starbolt, Oracle

Any set with Imperial Guard figures would be awesome!!! I wouldn't mind Messiah Complex Marauders either...Lady Mastermind, Omega Sentinel, Sunfire, Gambit, etc...

Horsemen Of apocalypse
Hulk as war, X-force archangel, Gambit (horseman colors), Polaris (horseman outfit), and AoA sunfire.

Covers two deaths, and all 4 riders.

Well it looks like the TRU 3-packs are continuing. So maybe a Dark Avengers 3 packs, Iron Patriot reapint, Ms. Marvel frankenfigure, and Dark Bulleye reapint.

I'd imagine it will most certainly end up being some iteration of Avengers or X-Men lineups, but I'd like to see Alpha Flight more than anything:

Vindicator, Sasquatch, Northstar, Aurora, Snowbird, Shaman, Marrina, Puck

Also wouldn't mind seeing Avengers & West Coast Avengers... I always think of the cover for WCA Annual #1 and think, man, there's some awesome box set potential there.

I would buy just about any of the teams mentioned above but being a long time Marvel fan, for me it would be an original Guardians of the Galaxy team with Vance Astro, Martinex, Charlie 27, Yondu, Starhawk, Aleta and Nikki.
They were an interesting, vastly different group from all over the Milky Way, held there own comic for towards 100 issues and I would love to see them in plastic.

Fwoosh. A guy was quoting Hasbro at SDCC. Appearantly TRU are getting more 3 packs, Wal-Mart more gigantic battles (that new Galactus being one).

It was a Toyfair magazine interview with Hasbro where Hasbro said these things.

Three packs coming are as yet unofficially named.
But here's hoping X-Force, New Mutants, Dark Avengers, pryde of the x-men or the last remaining urban legends(black cat, armored DD, ??Morbius or other?) are one of them.
Hellfire soldiers, Purifiers, and Aim also seem likely. Repaints or troop builders, occasional animation nod, if the trend continues. Though I'd like to see a War of Kings(BlackBolt, Vulcan, Gladiator) and Reign of kings (Nova Prime, Darkhawk, Crystal) packs.

But they have also mentioned more X-Men are coming, so that leads me to believe a Pryde of the X-Men type pack, or a 90s x-men type pack. This explains the sheer randomness of Jean Grey and sunfire without reading their files(though sunfire's file did mention something osborn would consider, but they've previously said waves are organized based on well they can relate to each other like that). Wave 2 is avenger heavy, so no mutants in that besides maybe juggernaut. so either waves 3-5 this year are going to be mutant heavy. Or the multi packs. Because so far the only othered rumored mutant besides juggernaut coming out, is wolverine yet again, with the sentinel.

I know previously I've stated no mutants so quick, but most of my avengers roster will be filled out before then, so I'm quickly changing my tune to bring on the mutants, and bring on the cosmic and urban! I'd also accept a three pack of Sue Richards black and blue out fit, but 90s style, Herbie, and young franklin or teen franklin.

I think those are all great ideas but one has to wonder the placement of the three packs within last series's archetype as well.

For some reason the only one that seems to fit is the solider one. The other two, Spidey and his amazing friends and the Daredevil,Silver Surfer and IM don't seem to have a place within the archetype.

So that makes me wonder if they will actually try and make these next couple packs relevant.

From the fan poll that MU previous had, I'd put money on us getting an Alpha Flight box set of some sort.

New Mutants, X-(various), and Dark Avengers seem like no-brainers, too.

Troop Builder Pack Shield, hydra hand (random fodder troops for the coming war)
Nostalgic TV Media Pack Amazing Friends (Spiderman sells well, and for some miraculous reason this was just never done.)
Anniversary classic Marvel Icons, ( The 3 classic inspired variants of characters known and loved, repaint central)

Then also take into consideration the parts available. Like silver centurion ironman from jean grey shoulder pads.

Hmm okay, I'd lean for the classic marvel iteration repack, SilverCenturion (wave1 IM with jean grey shoulder pads new head), Armored Daredevil(another Daredevil Repaint), Scarket witch (Enchantress mold primarily, new hair, maybe jean's?).
Ironman to push the box(but direct classic comic reference repaint), Daredevil for solo hero nostalgia and also help push the price of the box, then surfer rounds it out for the cosmic aspect. But this box is also an anniversary boxset. So this may not be as common.

In which case the other two also have themes.
Soldiers, or Classic Media.
That being said though, we could also get packs like.
Hulk, Thor, Daredevil, representing the 3 bill bixby movies.
Captain America, Spiderman, Dr. Strange, representing the 3 70s movies.
Tony stark, Jessica Drew Spiderwoman, J. Jonah Jameson, representing 3 of the classic cartoons. Etc.

Soldiers, we need AIM, Female shield agent or black one, and a Purifier.
But then again who knows what the themes of others will be. The GBPs are just utterly random from classic to modern. I wish we could just see waves 3-4 already. I'd love to see what parts there are to work with now.
