That's the one. So read the fine print at the bottom, or at least keep it civil.

Fedup23 09-16-2011 12:00 PM

^^ real classy.

Do Boy 09-16-2011 12:02 PM

There are so many things wrong with that pic I don't know where to begin.

Definitely. And as distasteful as it is, it does have a point.

No point in that pic. I have a cousin who requires special needs and attention. That is nothing but disrespectful and offensive.

That's kind of the point. Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending the pic at all and do think it's in poor taste as even a saying, but it does take a 'special breed' to argue on the internet with bile trying to one up another. To be fair though, that special breed by far needs no sympathies whereas those directly insulted by the pic should. That's not to say special needs can't take care of themselves though. Every person is different. As the poor guy who got ripped off in STL by having his collection stolen by some douche has proven.

Don't be offended, just take it as the callousness of the internet, and the arrogance of those who would argue to even go so far as to post the pic. (The offensive nature being the reason I only referenced it knowing full well of the pic's infamy and having no need to post it, but knew one of the the targets of my comment probably would since they already are callous enough to try to play who's the bigger man on the internet.)

The point of the pic is hypocrisy. To point out to a person the idiocy of what they are doing by using something as idiotic and offensive. Though as I said, it's unfair to special needs people to mark them the same as people like that. Special needs are far superior than them. xD

Agreed.

There are more tasteful metaphors to be found, anyway.

Probably better that way.

But c'mon man, don't leave us in suspense!!! Any luck at all? Or since you're not jumping up and down in excitement we should already have our answer? (Err nevermind wrong thread.)

Anyone else hoping that these interpretations of the characters do get released? I know that Doom is an obvious someday, but what about Doc Strange? Do you think they'll only stick to his iconic suit, especially since it's used in UMvC3?

well I picked up 2 Ultrons, there was also the rest of the wave except darkhawk,go figure.

dude btw,is that supposed to be DOOM 2099 in your avatar,I have always liked it,is it a custom?

Doom 2099 as a GL. xD
That one's just a digibash from the stock doom photo and ultron photo, but my custom figures thread has the figure as actually made. It's just a Dr. Doom head, Cobra Commander Cape, and Ultron Body, with the head cowl painted blue to match the cape, and parts of ultron painted black. I'm not a fan of the Doom tunic so I wanted one that didn't have it. Doom 2099 is the penultimate Doc Doom design-wise to me anyway. ( http://www.toyark.com/snowflakian-cu...414/#post49481 There, a direct link to make it easier.)

quinten182 09-16-2011 01:11 PM

You found the whole wave minus darkhawk? Where you at? And what store? Man I'd like just x-23 and Steve.. ><

oh I agree,I love that design, they really should make one of him,it was the best selling line in the 2099 verse,it would be a nice tribute.

It's like one giant n with everything from missouri and illinois to texas being left out. T_T I say this now, and watch the next person to respond be from illinois and have them.

Fedup23 09-16-2011 02:14 PM

flipwilson 09-16-2011 07:16 PM

Found 2 sets tonight, and bought them all. Oh man. Awesome! I didn't even think these were in my area yet.

That would be awesome if he had sealed in some of that stink-bomb liquid...

A great April Fool's Day gag!

Also cool would be taking the pins out of the knees, putting a drop of super glue in there to keep them together in the blister and when someone does the obligatory "bending of the joints" on a new fug...SNAP!

Dude that's both funny and messed up at the same time, you'd also have to include a mini camera to see the reaction because that would be classic.

Where'd you find them?
Or do you mean these fake variants?
