Yeah, no single sale on that pack is pretty dumb. Neither of those are THAT exciting to not divide them up. That's the only one I'd pick up, but I won't pay over target's 14.99 price. That 18.99 tru price is not going to fly on this one for me. Wonderman/Quicksilver is happily worth 20 to me though!

Nexodusrex 09-28-2011 11:14 AM

because I had a ton of credit at BBTS, and I was gonna get iceman and magneto anyway if I saw them in stores(Only want hte wolverine), I decided to get the 5 and I'll pawn off the Ironman and Absorbing man to my LCBS. if the Absorbing Man is a variant, He's goin on ebay

iLegends73 09-28-2011 11:57 AM

damn it. just when i thought i was done with this wave "POW RIGHT IN THE KISSER!" now i got more gas to use. i olny want iceman and maybe wolvie anyway

What's the variant to Absorbing Man?

Hopefully soon. I know ep 1 has Dr Doom and the Fantastic Four, and Season 2 has confirmed Falcon, Vision, Ms Marvel, X-Men, Guardians of the Galaxy, Kree Skrull War

Badrumble 09-28-2011 12:17 PM

lol well It's about what? $60 shipped for 5 figures? that comes out to be $12 a figure. $4 more per figure for a set that seems like a filler wave isn't worth it to me. Yes the completest in me wants them bad. But the collector in me can wait. :)

NoodleChow 09-30-2011 03:47 PM

factoring in gas, tax, and semi inflated prices in certain areas, 12 bucks a figure is about how much some to most people are paying anyways. i just hit a target that's selling MU at 9.59 and another at 9.19.

GAS IS NEVER A FACTOR FOR ME. I get free gas people. I understand that some people spend hours and days and $100s in gas if they search like I do. But I have a company card and car. So ordering online isn't worth it to me. + hunting for me is wayyyyy more fun. Ordering online takes away that wow factor when I find it in the store.

If you find an extra astonishing wolverine in your travels, let me know, I'll pay a couple buck markup on top of shipping +markup to make it even.

Ive been on your side of the street too.. I just got tired of wasting my time and gas.. now instead of driving around running into and out of stores and leaving empty handed.. two hours later, giving up and coming home beaten.. Its worth just ordering to me.

Besides.. my math is this. $8.49 per fig at TRU.. + .50 tax.. so $9 bucks each. $58 dollars shipped for the 5 set from BBTS.. so $11.60 per. Thats a diff of only 2.60 a fig. So 13 dollars more for the set. I get to stay at home, hang with the wife.. do some stuff around the house.. watch some baseball..catch a football game..you name it. Im not running all over town like a psycho!! LOL

I still hit up stores for certain sales.. get some figs on the cheap.. it all evens out for me. :)

PS.. yeah yeah.. you get free gas.. we have heard it already! the rest of us dont!! :-)

Ohh completely understandable man. I know to some it's prolly wayyyy cheaper to order online then spending time and gas. But I am just blessed with my job that pretty much supports my hobby

Sweet, I can be lazy for him. xD Nah, if I do find him I'll be sure to let you know so you don't have to worry about it. I do appreciate it though if you find him. I've been dying for ages to get my hands on that figure masked.

You might need to make that your sig bro cus even when they 'know' they still bring it up. I find that for some figs i want to just catch up online but there are others I 'have' to find in the wild for it to be worth while so yeah the hunt continues...

How on Earth do you get away with using company resources like that?

Great perks. My job requires me to be all over Houston. So they give me an IS300 that i pretty much get to keep. But no specific time unless it's an emergency. So I have the time to shop around on the clock. It also helps that my boss is a collector. So when I come back with a Star Wars figure for him once in a blue moon. He's happy lol

NoodleChow 09-30-2011 06:13 PM

haha man that's a fantastic perk.
