There's been a few that were slightly tweaked,.. XMO Deadpool, and a bunch of the Wolverine molds. Same "buck" with usually a slightly different head sculpt, or a whole new color scheme/suit.

The "new" Astonishing Wolverine is just XMO Wolverine with the head they made for the X-Force team pack Wolverine.

I like what I'm seeing.

Can't wait to see them in person tomorrow.

I agree to a certain extent but they are still made by Hasbro.

Movie series figures no. Comic Series figures from Movies yes.

Though that may change if they release a modern Ultimate Ironman in MU. His movie armor is his current Ultimate armor.

I think it all depends on how the individual classifies things.

Some don't consider the movie toys to be part of the MU toy line.

I figure technically they aren't, but I buy them all up just the same.

Since they have 6" versions, I won't be buying any of the 3 3/4" line. The head sculpts for Hawkeye and Loki look amazing. Really excited to get my hands on these.

I think he was talking about the Marvel Universe 3.75" line specifically. "Marvel Universe" is the actual name of the line, whereas Cap, Thor, Ironman, etc, are called whatever their movie is.

For me, all of the 3.75" Marvel figs are pretty much MU, but technically there is a difference.

I guess you could say that Legends could be MU if you wanted to... they're Marvel characters, and they're in the Marvel Universe.

nomad1632 10-13-2011 12:19 PM

yeah whats the deal with the 3.75 series figures the articulation is gone no torso joint????????

quipp209 10-13-2011 12:23 PM

i cant wait to see all the new pics of mu and ML i wish i cold have went to the con but hey there is alays next year i guess

Mastersteef 10-13-2011 12:29 PM

Hurm...at this point I am fairly skeptical of these. I find the lack of "ab-crunch" joints disturbing.... Also, I really hope that Hawkeye gets some bicep and wrist swivel joints (a wrist hinge/swivel joint, ala "POC Shadow Tracker" would be greatly appreciated as well) in the final figure.

It is my solemn duty as both a nerd and a fan, to bitch endlessly about any of my favorite given properties because of my undying love and wonder for them. And The Avengers (however mind-blowingly awesome) is no exception...
