It is meant to be that Reed has everything he ever could want in his life, and would die a happy man. The thing is with Doom, he always wants more, and never gets it, he is never content with what he has even if it is more than Reed.

Disagree, again. If that was the case, he would of won and the Reed family destroyed. Again with the House of M event [which, again, is an altered earth 616 where almost everyone gets their hearts desire] he got his own wife, son, and TEAM. Everything else you say is moot, just means he knows how to stay alive, that's it. Reed has family and friends who will fight and die beside him, Doom has nothing but himself and STILL fails. He may outsmart Reed here and there, heck, it is Doom, it is probably a lot. But in the end, Doom is alone, with no one but him and his Doombots.

You and I obviously have different opinions on what makes a man a man. There is no shame in a man having help from family and friends at any given time, if anything it makes you more of a man for 1. Accepting the help. 2. Means people care for you. Doom has NONE of that and has to use trickery [smart trickery, may I add] for the assistance, and still calls them "insolent fools", even though Doom was the one who either tricked them into helping or asked for their help in the first place. Besides, I bring up House of M a lot because it really, REALLY got into Dooms character and how he will never, EVER be satisfied in life. You always use "It was a Doombot". I was thinkning of getting an extra Power Man/ Iron Fist comic pack and sanding off his tiara and afro, slapping his head and hands onto a spare Jim Lee Cyclops body and doing a full repaint into modern Luke Cage...maybe modifying a pair of baroness sunglasses for him.

Well, there's some tweaks from that triumph and Torment Graphic Novel, but not regarding his mask or the scar.
