Sandman
Here in the states, in Illinois @ wally world they are $2.50
If you check the back of the package, right above the bar code, there is an imprinted code that will tell you which one it is ( so don't open them in the store)
Surfer - A06101
Magneto - A30091
Havok - A27091
Iceman - A29091
Mr Fantastic - A03101
Sandman - A28091

So Cyclops & Spider-Man would be whatever codes are left. Hope this helps.

Are these accurate? I checked an entire box at Wally World because I thought these would make awesome X-Mas gifts on a budget (and the curiosity was killing me), and I didn't find any of those.
However, I bought two random ones from Series 2.

Here are the codes (both are Series 2)

Ground Assault Drone - A07091MM
Whiplash - A06091MM

I was at an antique shop this weekend, somebody had their case with marvel stuff. Had a couple of series 2 guys. Loki was at 12 dollars. Idk who would pay that much. I mean really. Maybe 5 if you were really into them and didnt want to deal with mystery packs but damn thats pricey considering the mu figures like vision was 15

No way I'd pay much more than $2.50 (retail) for these. They're cool, but not worth too much hype and expense. I did notice that the Wally World I picked up the Drone and Whiplash at had torn open packages (similar to the torn open Spiderman I bought for my sis) so either some collector must have been sniping the rare ones, or some kid was getting creative and picky (I prefer the kids doing that). Anyway, Loki would be cool, but not $12 cool.

For $2.50?

FancyPants 12-13-2011 02:32 AM

If i've got an extra to send out, i'd probably just give it to you. I just need to make sure there's one for my wife's kids

Was it a Series 3 box or Series 2? Those codes that Dynamis mentioned are from the first wave of Series 3. Revision waves may have changed the codes since then.

I have yet to see Series 3 at all. But I'm seriously considering making a list of all known codes/characters for all three series, just to keep things straight for my own sake.

Please do. It'd come in handy for all of us.
Which reminds me, I need to write down the halo codes still so I can get the Orange one to start fleshing out my RvB megabloks.

iLegends73 12-13-2011 01:42 PM

Im guess that those codes are from the 1st run but have nothing to do with the ones out now. The wally world i get mine from also has a set of series 1 but with out iron spiderman, and the iron man is colored different from the 1st run. Maybe mega bloks ppl got smart and figued out what they did with the codes and changed it up

If it means depriving a kid of a toy, I'd rather you just give it to them.

The ones I looked through were Series 1 and 2, so thanks for clearing that up. We could definitely use an accurate list to save us all some trouble.

According to the site that solidwii linked to, MegaBloks changed it for the UK release and used that for the US re-release. The codes are also slightly different to reflect the revision wave. The new revision does not include Armored Spider-Man or Battle-Damaged Iron Man, so if you picked them up during the first run (like me), kudos to you.

That's what I was going to use as a basis for my own list, but I didn't realise that they already had Series 3 listed. Last time I checked, they only had 1 and 2.

I might still create a thread here for it, so we can keep track of them in real-time as we all find them and open them. Plus my list will just be a straight-up checklist like my MU list.

Also, if anyone is willing to provide their own quality pics of each figure, I can add a visual guide to the list as well.

Marvel Kid 12-13-2011 05:56 PM

This is odd... I thought Mega Bloks is a Canadian company??? We still don't have any series 3 at all.

DogFashionDisco 12-13-2011 09:16 PM

I'm a bit confused, when I looked at that link (the one solidwii posted) it had different codes than the ones I listed for the same figures. I know you guys mentioned a change in the codes at some point, but I'm trying to make some sense of this. I'm going to gather up the Iron Man and Thor related characters and give them to a buddy for Christmas, so I kind of need to know.

Generally what I found to be true with an fresh case is that a series of codes will follow the same last two digits(before the MM) and the other numbers are changing.

They seem to change the logic on Series 3 however.

I can't guarantee the accuracy of the codes as there might be regional differences...but that's the general idea. And it's the first 5 numbers before the MM...better to start with that habit since Mega bloks seems to change the logic for S3.

I use a combination of code + feel to make sure.

I made a few bucks on ebay so I used $10 of that to buy a set of 8 Mega Bloks characters. I'm giving them away as gifts, all except the Wolverine that was in the set. I may be broke, but that one seems like it might be worth hanging onto.

I don't have that one, but I'd trade my Whiplash and Drone for Green Goblin. C'mon, thats a decent deal.
Oh, and here is a comparison shot of a LEGO figure vs. a Mega Bloks Spiderman.

Damn, well it was worth a shot. I love LEGO minifigures, but these Mega Bloks characters have a lot to offer.

FancyPants 12-15-2011 03:09 PM

Walmart near me had a whole box of series 3 and two boxes of series 1. grabbed a bunch. Haven't opened them yet, actually forgot until I saw this thread :)

DogFashionDisco 12-15-2011 03:56 PM

If anyone ends up with an extra Captain America can you hook me up?
