Damn, I am in love with that Joker's Fun House set... And is it me, or is Batman riding the Batpod?

That would be awful, who would want their kids to think a homicidal maniac like The Joker was mentally ill? Clowns are friendly, always, forever.

But it will be really funny when I have my Marvel and DC Minifigs standing next to my TF Kreons.

"You look taller on TV."

"Eh, the camera adds 20 tons."

im pretty sure there will be an exculsive set with all of them in maybe the main seven only but who knows ?

Optimus Vader 12-14-2011 02:28 PM

These are new? My friend's kid has Lego Batman & Joker stuff.

The Batman ones were around for a while, but they discontinued them. Eventually sets that would've retailed for $79 were going for $400+

By the way, to any Arkers interested, I called LEGO and they said that they're honoring the sale where you can get free shipping and no tax on orders over $49, so the awesome Funhouse set and the Superman/Lex set would only cost $60 total. I'm jumping on that deal as soon as I can, but I just wanted to share that with you guys.

Oh, and Shin Densetsu posted new BBTS releases, including the Batcave:
http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/p...ail&picture=in

EPIC.

The price is cheaper than what TRU would charge so it isn't a bad score, but if this hits retail I'll just buy it that way. Right now if I buy any of these I'm using the official LEGO site, I've had nothing but good experiences with their site/customer service so far. I mean hell, they replaced an $80 Star Wars set for me, no strings attached, just because Target wouldn't. I'm a loyal customer now.

Good Stuff 12-14-2011 05:35 PM

The superman/lex/ww set is nicely done...but Lego is definitely not for me, no interest.

ToyAddict 12-15-2011 05:02 AM

toysrus.com just raised their prices on all of it by 10%. And they were already overpriced.

I think kids are pretty impressionable, and not all parents take the time to talk to them about the kinds of media they are consuming.

You can probably imagine someone suffering with a mental illness who isn't a homicidal maniac though, maybe even someone close to you who spent the weekend at a hospital dealing with a problem that you wouldn't want children to immeidiately associate with someone who has become as horriffic as the Joker has in recent years.

I'm not saying I agree with the decision to pull the Asylum from the shelves, just trying to shed a little light on the reason why.

Nexodusrex 12-15-2011 01:45 PM

Joker's Funhouse is back in stock
The Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape* | LEGO Shop grab it while its hot

Edit : AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND its gone. that was fast

CLASSIFIED 12-15-2011 01:59 PM

I want to get the batmobile set myself. but I'm waiting for retail. only reason I bought them now on lego shop is cause of free shipping and the joker set. lol

I'd be totally down for TRU to have a Justice League set. It would be even more awesome if it was joined by a Legion of Doom set too.

TRU can be quite scandalous. They know that this is the time of year when people are willing to pay too much, and they capitalize on it.

I get what you mean, but the root of that problem is bad parenting.

Dude, he'll love those. Good choice! LEGOs are pretty expensive, but they're good for a kid's imagination and cognitive development. Did you find them in person or just order them online?

I agree 100%.

Bad parenting is the source of a lot of society's ills IMO.

They certainly ruin things for toy colectors that is for sure.

havokss22 12-19-2011 09:55 AM

I just found the DC Universe Lego Super Heroes Joker figure at a local Fred Meyers store. It was the only DC universe legos they had.

MegsTriggerMan 12-19-2011 01:36 PM

Shopping over the weekend they are all over the place at TRU in FL now ... as much as i would love a huge collection of lego/kreon/mini mates im still avoiding the bug all together

Deefuzz 12-19-2011 03:31 PM

Absolutely! Not getting the goofy ass hero bots, but I will definitely be buying the sets. I am still pissed that I passed up on the original set with the Tumbler all those years ago.

Yeah, the Tumbler would have been awesome to put together.

DogFashionDisco 03-09-2012 12:50 PM

Does anyone know if they are going to release a special LEGO Batmobile again, or is the only one in circulation right now the one in the Two Face bank robbery set?

Haven't heard of anything official, but considering it's the Batmobile and Batman has had several versions of it, I have no doubt they'll eventually do at least one more set featuring it (possibly the Tumbler).

Off the top of my head, there's at least 4 other versions of it that they could release in various sets based on the comics/animated series alone.

I figured they would, but I was hoping someone might be able to confirm if or if not they had announced something. I bought the Two Face chase set today, but I'm not going to open it until I figure out if they will be releasing a definitive Batmobile of some sort.

snake5289 03-10-2012 12:45 AM

I'm going to try and get the Lego Batmobile set for my birthday in a few months.
Lego Batman + Two-Face + Batmobile = definite buy for me.

I know its in stock on Walmart.com, and I found one in person today at a Target, so I'd say those are your two best options.

snake5289 03-10-2012 12:54 AM

Oh I see it in Wal-Mart and Target all the time. Not worried about finding it it's a matter of fundage.

I know what you mean, $50 is a lot to spend on any toy, but at least when you buy LEGOs you're not just picking up something awesome, it is also sort of like making an investment. LEGO sets that get discontinued are worth a ton, so even if you eventually decide to resell your set it will make back the money you initially spent if not more. Personally, I like the Two Face Chase set but I really only want the Batmobile that comes with it. The Two Face and Batman figures are cool too, but the rest of it isn't very appealing to me.
