Marvel Showdown Doc Ock, dude!

D00MTR0N 03-06-2012 05:57 PM

this whole line looks weak.

Scythe 03-06-2012 10:28 PM

What the fu-?! I only just found out what T-Crotches are cuz of this thread. They're pretty sucktastic.

Good point, the tentacles broke off of mine though :(

Correct me if i'm wrong, but does anyone else think it's strange that we didn't see any promotional shots for these figures? It's like some of them came out of nowhere.. It's like Hasbro knew these were gonna get people annoyed and just put them on the shelves. Reminds me of when a production studio releases a film into theatres or a game into the shops without having a critical preview first.

Scythe 03-07-2012 03:15 AM

I thought Toy Fair had alot of that crap up for show.

Easy solution - the Amazing spiderman Doc Ock tentacles. They look like they would be easy to glue or attach to the Showdown Ock.

KingLouie731 03-07-2012 07:09 AM

paint looks good one the ones on display but that looks to be the lines only redeemable quality

I've give that a go :)

Wish the arms were longer on the Showdown version. Any ideas for custom arms with other materials?

Boba Fettuccini 03-07-2012 09:57 AM

Hasbro, you bastards... you cut back, make crappier products, and you know you can get away with it because we'll still buy the damn thing...

I swear I'm only getting the super articulation movie figure though. The kiddie Spider-Man series rehashes can go suck it.

bmorr 03-07-2012 10:35 AM

I just know by the time May rolls around that someone on here is gonna buy a whole damn case and post pics. We all may bicker about the quality, but its the completionists that have the most to lose. "It doesnt matter lol, its MOC!"

Runamuck 03-11-2012 02:29 PM

Hasbro is really takin a step back with the articulation, huh? So, how many lines is that now...GI Joe...Spiderman...and?

snake5289 03-11-2012 05:28 PM

The Avengers line. Everybody's whining and bitching about those too.

spider1venom 04-06-2012 03:43 PM

Looks like a ben riley ill have to snag that atleast.
