I'd like to see uncanny x-force gut every member of the secret avengers. And it'd be okay too because Marvel can always bring the same characters back to life 6 months later anyway

1) Complete Reboot, Main Marvel (616) mix of Movie, Ultimates, Ultraverse and comics
2) All dead revived (Jean Grey, Gwen Stacy, Stature, Uncle Ben, Doc Ock), all de powered mutants restored
3) Cyclops killed

Pretty much what thesymbiote said. Think of it as DVD extras...but for comics. Its an interesting concept and I actually see it being used best with the AvX: VS tie in series. My expectation for VS is that, since this was supposedly going to be extended fights between characters that just were too much to be contained within the main story, that by scanning certain panels with an AR symbol we would be treated to some motion comic or animation style fight scenes for some cool effects.

If that doesnt happen...then the novelty has definitely worn off for me lol.

no that was avengers vs. xmen. AvX is a six story about guys solely beating the crap out of each other(iron man vs. magneto, cap vs. wolverine, namor vs. the thing). avengers vs xmen is where the real meat and potatoes of the event happens. HOPEFULLY.

And it was tolerable for me. The fight with Iron Man and Magneto was all sorts of wtf. Iron man channeled the magnetic force of the Planet Jupiter and Magneto channeled the magnetic force of other planets...I got lost with that one. Also how did Tony change his armor to carbon fiber if the metal is housed in his bones these days? At least Namor and Thing was just basic physical blows.


New Avengers was awesome for me because the Iron Fist mythology just got richer. Looks like Iron Fist may jump ship from Avengers to helping the X-men but only because it will somehow protect Kun Lun is my guess.

Who was the red haired girl in Kun Lun one hundred years ago is what i want to know? Hope in time travel mode again?

Marvel never said it was worthless, lol. They did say go to the main story if you want one because this is all fighting. The book is basically just continuing the fights that are introduced in the main story but didn't want to extend the main issue with just the fights. So they created this tie in for those fans interested in just seeing how these fights play out. I think its cool they created this option but the title seems silly. It actually reminds me of Capcoms first Marvel Superheroes fighting game lol.

Whoa didn't know the main story is 12 issues, so basically it's going to last a year? Unless it comes out in bi-weekly mode...

Which would translate as worthless to those expecting an actual progressive story line...or any story at all. But I only review it for what it is and what it was always claimed to be. Pure brawling with match ups between characters that fans have debated about for yrs. In that regard I though it was ok.

Certainly not $3.99 ok though. And with that I would have to agree with bmorr that this should be skipped in hopes that marvel just integrates it all into hardcover when this whole event is collected.
