Yeah, I was able to preorder the set without the diorama. Although I wouldn't recommend using PayPal for payment though. It took longer to submit my order this year than last year when I just copied and pasted my card number into the order form. From what I read on Neca TMNT thread, several people tried using PayPal couldn't get their order submitted fast enough due to all the site traffic.

Yes sir! Same here, got the set without the diorama. I did pay with Paypal. It was running a little bit slower, which did worry me. I just always prelogin to paypal first and that helps a bit. I'm going to try to get another set today for a friend that took off work yesterday to score a set, but didn't get one. I want to go the the dio set, but with the 1/4 turtles, i don't have a place for it. Do you think we will see this dio in stores somehow with a different paint job, so its not "turtle" related?

And side note! Im waiting on my 2 jokers to be delivered today. So cool about the socks!

I thought about getting the set with the diorama as well but I don't have the space for it either. Plus, I don't want to pay $125 for a diorama. From what Randy said at NYTF and what Joe Moore said in the Neca TMNT thread the other day, we should see the diorama released at retail in different paint schemes. When they first showed it at NYTF, it was painted to look liked the buildings from the original TMNT cartoon. They even had last year's SDCC figures on display with it. Some possible paint schemes that I could see released at retail are a realistic but generic set, a pixelated set for all of Neca's video game figures, and the cartoon set they originally showed at NYTF.

Just a heads up about Joker, the blazer on mine is really tight in the arms so it limits some of the articulation in his shoulders. It also makes it harder to put back on. It can be done though so just go slow.

Holy cow, that Joker figure looks tremendous.
