I've seen people "confused" about the scale of the Controller due to his bio listing him as being 6'2. That was his hgt prior to the accident that scarred & crippled him. His brother then helped him build a huge & powerful Exo-Skeleton that is now permanently bonded/attached to him & powered by cerebral energy. It allows him to lift 1000lbs but with the slave disks, the more people that he can use to control & absorb their cerebral energy into his Exo-Skeleton, the powerfuller he can become & press a max of 50 tons. He should be listed as being 6'7 as he's as big/huge as Thanos. With him made, we now have a decent handful of Armored characters that fought SCIM in the "Armor wars"
We now have: Controller Stiltman Beetle Vault Guardsmen Next comic based IM wave should be based on the Armor wars & Classic Firepower should be the BAF, along with his Neo Armor, Crimson Dynamo, Titanium man, Stingray, Mauler & classic comic based SHIELD Mandroids, not those crap figs they tried to pass off as Mandroids. |

I'm so ready to add Controller to my ranks of Iron Man baddies. I have everyone on pre-order except Blue Marvel. Nothing again him, just don't need him for my displays. Anyone not looking to complete the BAF who is getting BM? I'll buy the leg off you.

Problem with MS line is that it's in the 7' scale so normal sized figs are incompatible with ML line. Hasbro has to redo SCIM with the neck issue corrected. An "Armor wars" based IM multi wave would be ideal for it! |

Finally found Hammerhead yesterday at Wally world. Such a cool looking figure & the head sculpt is leaps & bounds better than their 1st attempt at it on the Chameleon suit. I also had a Tommy Gun to hook him up with! Decided to take some pics of him with his boss & their soldiers. Also an Adamantium head butt to the solar plexis is gonna leave Spidey with a bad stomach ache in the morning.

Also I doubt they're doing a themed Iron Man wave anytime soon. If we get another one as rumored it'll likely be another grab bag of different eras like previous ones.
Which, coincidentally, would be a perfect place for a redone Extremis. |
It looks like Walgreens oversold their Quazar figures and didn’t process returns. I had my box on the porch this afternoon, and the only thing in it was my figure I got for free shipping. They still charged me for the other, and had to call for a return. Unfortunately they’re completely sold out so I couldn’t get it reshipped. Just another reason for me to hate Walgreens exclusivity.
If anyone has an extra and looking for anything, hit me up. |
Wow... I have never seen so many civilian action figures in suits in the same shot before... reminds me of the movie Guys and Dolls with Marlon Brando... very cool.

Anyone put the Hood's head onto the Hammerhead figure's body to customize to have a regular mobster thug character?

I'm a scale accuracy nazi so scale compatibility is paramount for me. IM is not a large sized character except for when he is sporting the Hulk buster or Thor buster armors. SCIM is the same hgt as Cap, never has a regular armored IM been seen to stand the same hgt as Thor, who is 6'6. |

I found the entire Dr Strange 2 wave at my main Walmart like a week ago but I've been lazy and am just now posting about it. I already found Wong the week before at my other Walmart but this time I was able to get the new Stephen. Very much like Wong the plastic skirt is too firm and limits leg function, although by design it is not as restrictive since it's shorter. I appreciate getting a new and more dynamic looking cloak of levitation but I've also got some gripes with it. The cloak just rests on him, it doesn't plug in, so it can wobble out of place or just not sit quite right with certain poses. The way the cloak is packaged in a separate layered tray behind the figure's also sort of stretched it in the clasp area, so I had to use a hairdryer to attempt to correct it but even then it doesn't rest flush on the neck the way I would like it to. Those issues aside, everything else going on with the figure is swell. Nice assortment of well done alternate hands, great likeness, solid paint apps, and no fussy articulation aside from the previously noted limitations. I would say though that if you've already got the No Way Home Dr Strange figure then you could probably safely wait to pick this one up for less later unless you really like the more super hero costume like attire of this one. |
Seems like hasbro is cutting more corners with cape just sitting there. I wish theyd kept his yellow gloves.
