Agreed there, and I wouldn't think it has anything to do with the movie rights. But I did recall saying because the X3 movie didn't do so well which was the cause of it.

Don't think so, but it's very easy to pull off, my guy Symbiote did this for me

Ah... I always had that down as a Wolverine repaint!

I need an honest assessment guys. How much do you think this lot is worth? I'm considering purchasing something I normally wouldn't but I want to weigh out how much it would cost me if I sold off a few things first, like my MOC stockpile here.

bmorr 02-27-2014 03:13 PM

sell it on ebay for 120. but sell black knight in a separate listing since hes worth the most. somebody will more than likely go for it.

kylactus 02-27-2014 03:23 PM

^160-180. and on the x-men getting shafted I'd say its because they don't, individually have mass appeal, by that I mean you show a pic of spidey, cap, thor, or Hulk to an average non fan on the street they'll know who it is because they have all had decades of there own comics, TV shows, movies, and toys, where as, other than wolverine I'd guess not too many of those same people will recognize or know five individual X-men. to illustrate my point, whose itching for a Cyclopes movie, or who was a fan of the Beast mini series? and how dull would a film following Professor X without his powers or his students be? Hell I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say the Punisher is more recognizable than (again excluding Wolverine) any other individual X-man, and he hasn't been in anything worth reading since "frankincastle". I say this because I've never seen a "Storm" or "Night crawler" Hoodie at Hot Topic.

Iceman 02-27-2014 03:33 PM

I don't care about getting max ebay prices, just what a fair rate would be. If I went by ebay values I would probably ask like $200 or something stupid. I figure if I stick it up there cheap enough some collector that doesn't have these will be able to get himself some nice figures without overspending and we both win. Selling them individually is a pain and shipping costs are close to $10 for one figure so I would have to give them away to sell them at all. Shipping all of these figures together would probably only cost like $25 and be a lot more attractive I think.

ProfessorHov 02-27-2014 04:23 PM

Fair price least 160. Cuz lot of those you can't find

More than likely a 're-seller would buy the lot and sell off individually for $15-$25 plus shipping each. The likelihood of a collector grabbing a deal is pretty slim, mate. If there exists one, he would be here or mucc.... Get your dollars. Sell them each separate starting at a tenner and let the demand control the fate. That way you aren't scalping if it goes for $22.64 because the market created the price NOT you. People are looking for one figure and don't mind paying shipping all the time.

On another note, I found a GLASSMAN CUSTOMS does a badass Daken head.

I just google imaged "papercraft mortal kombat", printed it on cardstock and then used a hobby-knife, glue, tape, and patience.

have you seen anything in the realm of computer terminals or some sort of control panels? Cause if I could upgrade my "headquarters" dios thatd be awesome.

spade 03-01-2014 02:26 PM

I brought a winter soldier from the cap winter soldier line and man is this guy tiny. He's smaller than a 25th anniverseray gi joe .

kylactus 03-01-2014 02:54 PM

yeah the Cap series isn't appealing to me, the poor scale, and Shield uniform Caps child bearing hips are a real turn off...

Holy hell I have not the skill, patience, or supplies to do something like that.

I was hoping it was one o' them candy containers like the Pac-Man one I have.

from what i remember miles morales is also worth $30ish, so unless you sell it here for bulk..selling it on ebay only invites re-sellers.

bmorr 03-02-2014 06:07 AM

I love that black knight so much. its great they gave us such an obscure avenger. lets hope they do a tigra.

he is the last of the "MU" line i want (other then vision and old man logan, but i dont pay crack prices) and i just want him to beef up my bad guy ranks

Iceman 03-02-2014 09:48 AM

I'll be honest. I still have no idea who Black Knight is. I mean, I get the basic idea but I've never read or seen anything with him in it.

Tigra's okay but never been a huge favorite of mine for some reason. I would much rather see (in order)

Justice: to finish out the Busiek run
Spectrum/Photon/Photon/Captain Marvel/whatever she is going by this year.
Sersi (yeah, that's my odd Avenger push, instead of Tigra)
All three of these are in my top 25 figures period I'd like to see made.

Much lower priorities but still in order are Quasar, Swordsman (both versions) Magdalene (yeah, REALLY obscure and will never happen and I still want her over Tigra) and Crystal.

Clearly, Tigra is even less of a favorite of mine than even I realized. I guess she'd be after Crystal. Or maybe Living Lightening or Firebird.

He was the man in the stern 80 run, harras 90's run, and got a nice shine in heroes for hire, ultra force, and mi 13. He's a fan favorite.

spade 03-03-2014 05:46 AM

Ugh living lightning is the bottom of the barrel. Not only did he not have a impressive run in any comic book, no one bothered to design him a good costume.

Man, you must really hate Tigra if you talking about the alternate universe Swordsman.
