My Easter basket finally came in. This is what I got. For $20 it's definitely not a bad bargain in terms of what I ended up with.

I've paid 25 bucks for a sentinel, 11 bucks for another, and got one free!! Though I did pay 60 for a classic colored one.

say hi to houdini
http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/6238/dscf1408t.jpg

me and houdini have been playing cat and mouse for a year and a half. everytime i went to this one walmart i would either see or not see him. for whatever reason i would pass on houdini because either there was another more important buy or just plain broke, then the times when there was nothing or i had plenty of cash he'd be "gone". no idea where he'd go/been i saw him today grabbed him up and took his armored ass to a register. Wow going back thru this sounded so homo erotic.

Great! So I'm the only guy with the crappy Easter Baskets?!

Yours is pretty awesome by the way in IMO. :)

Reaver Strike 04-14-2012 06:36 PM

[QUOTE=BigHanksCustoms;272614]Is that the Slammer Jammer thing? Very cool. Didn't ToyBiz make a Nimrod Sentinel around the same time?

Yes it's the slammer one. Toybiz did make a nimrod version as well.

DogFashionDisco 04-14-2012 07:35 PM

Well I haven't gotten anything yet in the mail so consider yourself extra lucky. I want my Easter basket! hahaha

Now that I think about it. It really is awesome. I didn't end up with any of those horrendous Avengers figures.

Mine had broken pegs where the legs click in when in beast mode and I was missing the mutant mask.

Now I have one complete!

Agreed!

He had more that would love to get my hands on. But I can't be greedy. I was just super glad that he gave me one without me even asking!

Tiberius 04-14-2012 08:31 PM

All my friends are lame as fuck. I always get teased that I play with dolls. Heh.

Anyways!

Found some old Gundam Wing figures. Found 10, 2 are complete :P.

Doesn't sound like they're much friends at all, either that or they're secretly jealous.

Tiberius 04-14-2012 08:55 PM

My friends are tools. I probably keep them around to feel better about myself haha. Btw bro your tattoo is dooooooooooope.

You took the words right out of my mouth.

All my friends love coming into my lair just to look around at my collection. They spend hours just looking around.

The only people in my life that are somewhat agaist them is my mom and one of my uncles. If my father was still alive he would one of those people as well lol.

Why are they against it? My dad shakes his head only because of the amount of money I drop on these things. My mom on the other hand would txt me if she thought I needed something for my collection.

Love my mom haha.

Love my mom haha.

Action figures are considered to be "childish items" mainly because they have an 8+ age. A lot of people don't know about customizing, displays, photo shots, reviews, variants, and resale value. I may have a lot of toys, but if I had the time and effort I could make 3-4000 on ebay easily. Guys and girls our age should be buying video games, movies, cd's, etc. I just see it as like a poster, no real purpose other then to say you have it, and star at it. Well an action figure is like that, but better because you can change the pose and form of the figure where as a poster stays the same. Yet a poster is more socially acceptable. I have a few friends that "don't get it", but honestly they're guilty of collecting other things themselves. Be it dvd's, video games, cd's, cards, coins, etc.

BigHanksCustoms 04-14-2012 09:20 PM

......Guys my age should be buying walkers, Geritol, Ensure, bigger life insurance.......

Funniest thing, I was taking my Mom around to run a few errands and at KMart I found The SW Vintage Sandstorm Leia, she bought it for me!

I told her it felt like 1977 again, shopping with my Mommy and she buys me a StarWars figure! Hah!

I have tried several times over the years to include or get some of my peeps into collecting/appreciating toys. They all think my collection is cool, but they just do not get it. My wife is 100% supportive of my action figure addiction which is most likely why i married her. LOL

Yes life does change drastically, but its all good. I have a 3 and a 4 year old who are both huge toy fans, and can not wait till daddy passes his toy & comic collection down. LOL

Awwww, very cool/cute! I have a few Ebay bucks I need to use, I'm thinking about this:

eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

I just can't find any info on him anywhere, on the figure specifically. What line, etc.
