Glad I’m not the only one who immediately set up the Defenders. Defenders set-up also allows for a more specific spot for Dormammu & Xemnu than my catch-all villain shelf, given their appearances in “Marvel Feature” 2 & 3 respectively (I just don’t have enough Hulk or supernatural characters to justify separate shelves… hint hint).

Maybe I should cancel my orders at Pulse and wait since it seems like the 20th figures have enough stock to go around for clearance.

I just received an email from shopdisney that they have canceled my pre-order for the X-force 3 pack and could not feel more dejected :(
All the notice really said was that due to unforseen circumstances they could not fill any orders. My biggest want was of course the Rictor (I really want one to go with my Shatterstar) but I don't see anyone on online selling just the Rictor. Maybe Hasbro will get around to making a current Excalibur Rictor one day.

Just ordered the Walmart Exclusive Classic Doctor Strange today, it should arrive on the 14th of March.

My friend got the cancelation from Disney too. I'm hoping it comes back on Pulse so he, and those of you who are in the same boat, can get it. That really sucks.

Wow, that's really a crappy practice to cancel those preorders from way back from the last part of last year. They would have been preordered before the set even went back up in stock in December through Pulse.

It'd be one thing if this were a set widely available, and you placed and got an ordered cancelled from one retailer, when 5-6 others had it. Distribution snafus happen. This was literally exclusive to two companies. It's almost like they'd have to make an effort to mismanage it. but I guess they did....o-O

I think it's BS that Walmart is now charging $70 for Dr Strange. I pre-ordered him back in Nov and will be getting him today but for those that are ordering him now, that is a 50% increase! How do they justify that increase?

I saw that too. I'm definitely not paying that price. I'm assuming that's somehow third party sellers but I'm not sure how that works; if it's like Amazon or if it's legit Walmart charging that much.

It is coming from 3rd party sellers. Which I think is wrong to have an exclusive item sold on your site by other people at higher costs.

I'm glad I ordered 2 Strange figs considering the immediate price gouge. They arrived yesterday and look great. However, the Wand of Watoomb seems oversized and I like the SDCC Universe set version better.

Yeah, that's a bit confusing. We know it's a standard practice with Amazon, but I had no idea that other bigger name retail websites did the same thing.

Walmart and Target both do that now and it's very annoying. I know it's the market now, but when I go to those sites, I want to see what they have in stock and their prices. Not third parties. And I don't want to have to use their terrible filtering tools that rarely work to filter them out.

Sorry to those of you who preordered X-Force from Disney and got burned. I was at Disney World a few weeks ago, and I regret to tell you that the Marvel shop at Disney Springs had literally piles of X-Force sets. Other than the Eternals wave, it was the only Legends product they had. I wonder if there was some sort of SNAFU and Disney Springs ended up with Shop Disney’s inventory.

Yeah, and it's bs. Back at Xmas my dad bought a Robert Rodriguez DVD set from Walmart.com not knowing the DVDs were region 2. It didn't say anything about them not working on the US players. When he gave them to my brother they discovered they would not play and he contacted the seller. The seller said he can send them back, but he would have to pay for shipping on top of being charged an $8 restocking fee. Another option the seller offered was buying an all region player directly from him for $40. The dude was a total scammer and had like a 1 star rating when I looked it up, but Walmart would not hold the dude accountable at all. My dad is in his 70s with severe parkinsons and did not need to deal with that shit.

According to someone on the Fwoosh who contacted Shop Disney, nobody’s X-Force preorder has actually been cancelled. People were just offered $20 as a courtesy for how long the preorder is taking, but orders remain intact. The email was just incredibly unclear.
