St Patrick's day Banshee reveal perhaps?

Need Classic Banshee & classic Angel in Red/white or Blue/White or both! After that, I'm done collecting the X-team as I just collect the classic versions of the team. I wish they'd re-do Beast on a smaller buck as the version they made is oversized. As far as X baddies, I just need classic Avalanche, Blob.

^I find it amusing how you seem to need to tell the thread what you won't be doing based on standards specific to you alone.
Do you, Mr. Magoo! ;) |

Hey bro, you do you, Go crazy buying all variations of the X-characters that you want, get 17 Wolverines, 11 Cyclops, 8 Rogues, 12 Colossus, etc. I personally don't need nor want unpteenth versions of every character in the Marvel universe, Ironman is the only one I make that exception on based on the fact that he has sported tons of different armors in the comics and even with him, once they redo the Neo classic armor and Heroes return armor, I'm done with him as well. |

The audience hasn't changed and most of us get it! "Grrrrrr!" Lol ;) |
Look, let's make this easy! Nobody talk about their wishlists, likes, dislikes, upcoming releases, current releases, past releases or Marvel Legends in general! :D
|
Lol no one talk about any damn thing!

Not sure I can talk about my first legends purchase of 2022 or not now. :D
But yay for Walmart (chortle, can't actually believe I'm saying that) exclusive Dr. Strange on my outing last night. on the flip side, nearly a fourth of the year in and one Legends bought. As i told my friend I was hanging out with, there's only 5-6 figures announced so for I'm interested in. Looking to be a very very low count year for me. |

Edit: I also hope, and this isn’t directed at anyone, that we can use this to remember that we never know where the other people posting here are coming from on a given day. Let’s always try and have a bit of patience and empathy. |

I sincerely hope that everyone else here is doing well. Things are still difficult for everyone and I hope that you, your loved ones and your friends are all well. Back on topic, I am glad to hear that you got your Dr. Strange figure, Captain Nash. Now I'm curious as to what the other five to six figures coming out are that you're looking forward to! On my end, the only new Marvel Legends I've ordered so far is Rhino. I got him at GameStop before he sold out, so I'm thankful I pre-ordered him when I did. I plan on getting Retro Falcon and pre-ordering U.S. Agent eventually, but I'm in no rush. I've already got my 20th anniversary Captain America and Hulk figures pre-ordered the day that those listings went up, so I look forward to getting both. That said, as curious as I am about the other 2022 reveals, this year just feels underwhelming somehow, which it truly shouldn't be since this is Spider-Man's 60th anniversary year and the 20th anniversary year for Marvel Legends. It also doesn't help that, like last year, we're seeing delays in figure reveals because a show or movie trailer hasn't happened yet. Not being able to see half or more of a wave because Disney+ has yet to reveal anything on their new shows and the curious delay of revealing the 20th anniversary Toad has made my excitement wane a bit. Even the rumored leaked listings for the 20th anniversary and Spidey 60th anniversary waves have left me not as excited as I thought they would. But then again, the leaks could be wrong like that rumored Retro Spider-Man wave that was supposed to include Uncle Ben, Jack O'Lantern and Carnage, among others, and we all know those listings weren't real (though I certainly wouldn't mind Retro figures of Jack O'Lantern or Carnage). There are a ton of characters, well above forty, that I'd love to see Hasbro make and remake before I even consider my collection anywhere near complete. But the other problem is pricing. With Marvel Legends's price tag already going up twice, I especially have to be more selective on who I buy and which version. Thanks for reading my nonsense. I hope you all are having a great day and stay safe, everyone. |
Saddening to hear of the losses that some of our posters are going through. My condolences. And it's true you never know where people are coming from, what their frame of mind is. The last few years have been rough for so many, for so many reasons.
@StuartGreen2019, the other figures are just the various figures I want from the X-Men and Avengers wave. But I'm not overly excited about any of them. I would have been for Siryn, and I guess she's still my most anticipated, but it sucks realizing that and also realizing I'm not overly happy with her, it's not my ideal outfit and there's no screaming head, and the face sculpt is rather dull as well. The rest, Madam Hydra, Havok, Vulcan, Blue Marvel, will all be nice additions or replacements, but again, none of them I'm wildly anticipating. That's okay, there will be more stuff and likely better years. I'm feeling like this year is the year that all the catch up from distribution/manufacturing problems and delays from covid hit. Which sucks too but literally first world problems right now. At one point I would have loved to see about 100 or so particular brand new/alternate outfit/remade figures made as well, but you're right, with the pricing, it's definitely about being selective. I've got that list down to around 50 or 60, and will probably not even see most of those get made or get made any time soon. First world problems strike again, but dang it, there's only so many years we can keep saying, "oh they'll finish up the New Warriors/X-Force/Thunderbolts/etc in the next year or two" before you begin to think...maybe they actually won't. |

Plus with hasbros shitacular new single character only case packs the baf idea needs to go away as no one will be able to finish a goddamn baf anymore. |

Is that really the third Silk in 2 years and a Doc Ock 2.0 as we approach the last version's 5th year anniversary? -rhetorical
Hey, Hasbro, may we please have a Will 'O the Wisp, Carrion, comic Molten Man, or cyborg Silvermane? 3 of 4 of those are pretty easy to make. Not as easy as that Ock, of course, but easy nonetheless. |

I guess that was our green fix for St. Patrick's Day.
Just saw ThorOdinson's post. Really? Really Hasbro? This wasn't going to make me get the figure personally, but the thing people have been asking for in a new Dr. Octopus figure....the one thing.... and no bendy tentacles. I guess the point about 5 years though, he is an A-level Spider-Man villain so he should get some regular cycled releases. |
No bendy tentacles = no purchase. Plus it's an Amazon exclusive and Amazon is a horrid company, so doubly no thanks!
