Careful if you ordered 20th Anniversary Cap from Gamestop. Loads of people are being sent Ben Rielly Spidey instead. But contacting gamestop they will give a you a refund and let you keep Ben.

Why aren't they just correcting the figure instead of giving refunds?

Likely because they don't have it in stock and probably never did. I've yet to see a single person order Cap from GameStop that actually received him.

Dorkside posted this shipping update for the 20th Anniversary Captain America over on the Fwoosh Forums. The date on the post was Saturday, March 19th.

The 20th Cap still shows as preorder on their site but they do have some store exclusive MCU Legends in stock now. They have the Walmart exclusive John Walker Captain America from TFaTWS, the Target exclusive Happy Hogan/IM Mk. 21 two pack, and the Amazon exclusive Captain Marvel/Rescue two pack.

So in good news, my Ben Reily and Morlun arrived today.

In bad news, Morlun's left leg was not fully assembled at the lower knee while they painted half of the pointer finger on Ben's right thwipping hand white. -_- I tried to get rid of the white paint, but it took off some of the red with it. If it wasn't for the fact that this is his thwipping hand, I wouldn't have been pissed about it, but it really sticks out.

I think the full reveal of the animated series Jean Grey is going to be my make it or break it moment with the animated X-Men figures. I was originally planning on getting the core team plus any villains from the show that I liked. But I'm not sure that's going to happen now.

I watched Dan Who's review of Wolverine and I think he turned out great. The newly sculpted pieces and the deco really came together IMO. But when comparing Wolverine to the other animated figures, he's clearly had more effort put into him. Wolverine has two new head sculpts, new shoulder pads, new claws, and the picture frame. As far as I can tell Sinister is 100% reuse, Jubilee has a new head, and Storm has a new hair piece. Given the higher price point and the amount of reuse with these animated figures, I don't think it's unfair to say there should be better effects pieces for their powers or their own episode specific accessories.

It is amazing how the stuff stays in stock for decent time once they prevent people from ordering a bunch at once.

Hi everyone. Just got back from PR yesterday after laying my mom to rest. Still kinda numb but I'm consoling myself with the ol "She's no longer in pain or suffering anymore" mantra. While there, I hit a few Walgreens and found out where all the Novas are. Each Walgreens I hit had at least a dozen Novas. I didn't purchase him as I spent a good amount in airfare, hotel & car rental for the week I was in PR. Had it been a buncha Quasars, I woulda been tempted to get a half dozen.

For those of you that still have your moms that are up there in age, tell em you love em daily, their tomorrow is not guaranteed, my mom was 81 and for the past couple of yrs I was girding myself for that day and it still hits you like a ton of bricks when it happens...you're truly never prepared for that day. But as the song in "Joker" says..."that's life".

As a HUGE Jean Grey fan...I am disappointed with the face on the figure revealed today. Im also disappointed in the price. Seems mighty steep for a repaint that's not that great. I thought it would be better.

After seeing stores just to the right of my home damaged by the Round Rock tornado, losing power for over a full day and other unpleasantries after the past 24+ hours, I am grateful to have my power back on, that my family and I are safe with plenty of supplies, and to get online to look at fun things like toy photos to help me relax.

That said, my condolences to Nimrod after his mother's passing. I wish you, your family and your friends nothing but the best during this difficult time.

Back on-topic, I just saw the Jean Grey VHS photos and to quote Oliver Platt in Disney's 'The Three Musketeers', "WHOA, ugly!" What did they do to Jean's face?!? What was wrong with the ones from the Love Triangle three-pack? Ponytail Jean's face is the better of the two, but the long haired head sculpt looks truly terrible!

At this point, I would much rather see Hasbro do Target exclusive Retro The Uncanny X-Men re-releases of Jean Grey with better head sculpts and telekinetic effect accessories. Come to think of it, toss in a Cyclops without the bomber jacket, with a new head sculpt and with an optic blast accessory to go along with her. I'd buy two or three of each. This cel-shaded Jean is NOT getting my money, and this is from an X-Men fan who likes the cel-shaded figures like Wolverine, Mr. Sinister and Jubilee.

A few people on the Fwoosh posted that they had received shipping notices earlier this evening. Dorkside themselves finally posted that they had received 1,600 units of Cap and that he would be listed as an in stock item tomorrow afternoon.

I just checked Dorkside and Cap is officially in stock. I checked my bank account and I've been charged for him so hopefully I'll be able to swing by their new store tomorrow and pick him up.
