I had already resigned myself to not completing X-Force, but the costumes being all kind of mismatched anyway does help me feel better... so not having the 3 pack doesn't hurt as bad to me... really wanted a early 90's Domino though.
And now that I have a good enough Shadowcat and a classic Strange the last must have figure I need is 90's Banshee... so I just hope they reveal him and be done with it. I think US Agent is the only figure I really need from this year's line-up... and I might not even need him if I decide to abandon having a dedicated West Coast Avengers display. |
The West Coast Avengers are one of the last teams I’m really set on completing, but for me it’s contingent on them delivering a better Tigra.

I am just tired of getting reviles that are a year away. Hurray up and put your preorders in for items for next Jan 2023. By the time it gets here you have lost interest in it.

Used the funds & points with an extra $17 to pickup Morlun, Tigra, Winter Soldier (Flashback), and Hobgoblin. |

Hasbro already made a yellow/green Banshee once while yellow/blue Banshee has never had a Marvel Legends.

Yeah I've got my specific wants, but for the most part unless it's Banshee, Mystique's BOEM, or more OG Thunderbolts, I mostly don't care so much anymore. The rest I want just doesn't appear to be coming at any time soon. |
It's MCU Moon Knight. That's what they're teasing.

I do mean him!

I for one am also growing tired of Legends. I really only want maybe 10 more characters done. Top of my list is the outback era X-men...and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. After that I might...might...bow out gracefully.
I'd also like new Banshee figures from GSXM and the strike team. |

How come Mcfarlane and Mattel can get figures out on time But Hasbro can't. |
My problems right now aren't waning interest and a lack of new figures I want. My problems are waiting for figures who need first-time figures or need upgrades and being able to afford who's left. I don't regret getting the 20th Anniversary Hulk and Retro Rhino pre-ordered, but their prices are ridiculous and in Rhino's case, he's overpriced at $39. A bigger figure in a plain gray jumpsuit with two horns on his forehead comes with an alternate head and two alternate hands and that's supposed to be worth the price?
I can see why everyone's excitement might be waning, but I think the main problem is there are so many problems with what's been shown. A lot of fans don't like the cel-shading on the X-Men animated figures. A lot of fans don't like that the 20th Anniversary Captain America figure's shield has holes in it. A lot of fans don't like the 20th Anniversary Hulk figures's two head sculpts. A lot of fans hate that the Doc Ock figure in the Amazon Exclusive two-pack doesn't have the long-requested bendable wire tentacles accessories. A lot of fans are getting impatient that characters like Avalanche and Banshee are still not getting made. Now when we do get to see new figure reveals, we're left wondering not only who gets left out, but what flaws will be with what ends up getting made. Are we going to see re-released characters wants have been wanting as an exclusive or two-pack? Will we see them in an anniversary wave at a higher price? Will we see a long-requested figure with a bad head sculpt, a lack of accessories, incorrect paint apps, or, God help us, all of the above? I've got a minimum of seventy-five characters I'd love to see Hasbro still make into action figures, from villains and heroes to supporting characters and characters in their movie or animated TV based looks (and when I say movie, personally I'm talking about updates of older Marvel movies, not current M.C.U. ones with the sole exception of 'No Way Home'), but I'll spare everyone of my wish-list to stay on-topic. And since Marvel Legends is putting out $23 to $40 figures these days, I don't know how much longer I can keep up with collecting them. Being perpetually broke is a main factor, but still waiting for certain characters to finally get made and/or made with the correct accessories, head sculpts, or whatever is definitely a factor as well. I'll be tuning in to see what Marvel does this year, as I'm intrigued by what the rumored Retro Iron Man wave and 60 Amazing Years Spider-Man wave have in store for fans. I just hate that the recent reveals have been underwhelming and that there's not as much excitement this year after the cool products revealed from the previous two. Anyway, thanks for reading my nonsense. I hope you all have a wonderful night and stay safe, my friends. |

I don't really have a list of figures I still want, aside from an Ultimates wave (come on Hasbro, it's another Iron Man, Cap, and Thor!).
Proper First Class X-Men, and a classic Hawkeye would be nice too. |
