Good news, Cap arrived.
https://i.imgur.com/5Py3uPK.jpg Bad news, the paint apps on his face are sloppy. I've got blue running down the side of his nose while flesh colors are sprinkled over this mask. |

I gotta watch episode 2 tonight. |
Just got an email from BBTS saying they are expecting the 20th Anniversary Hulk to arrive soon.

I thought Toad was supposed to be part of this wave? How is it even a wave when they aren't all coming out at the same time?

I'm really glad Mr Knight isn't a store exclusive. I've wanted the look for a long time and the MCU version is definitely close enough to the comic to work for me.

Korg BAF wave for Thor: Love and Thunder. This was posted on Twitter. No idea where the poster lives to know if this pic was taken overseas or here in the US.

Think I am in for Groot King Valkyrie and Jane Thor. I don't like how Thor looks as either Ravager or with that goofy helmet. Fat Thor is for me. Star Lord looks passable I already got the 2 from the GOTG Vol 2 waves. |

Saw the pics at the Fwoosh thread... on the "did Hasbro get Natalie Portman's facesculpt right this time" scale... I would go with a 4. Glad I can skip the whole wave though... this will be the year I buy the least amount of Legends for sure.

Man, this new Thor wave is so full of "meh". It's disappointing we get our first look at Natalie Portman in her Thor outfit from merchandise like this new toy of her instead of a teaser trailer or promotional photo. As I've said on Twitter, I miss the good old days when comic book movies actually gave us footage in a teaser trailer that didn't air two months before the movie actually opens and it was okay to actually show footage instead of being so overtly secretive. I get it, times have changed and most of these movies have unfinished C.G.I. Even a majority of the sets are sadly C.G. now instead of practically built sets. But it would've been nice to have had a trailer already before this leak.
And not one comic-based Thor figure? Really, Hasbro? This is Thor's 60th anniversary and all we're getting are movie-based characters, nearly a third of which are Guardians of the Galaxy based? Then again, we didn't get anything for Captain America's 80th anniversary last year and the Hulk likely isn't getting anything for his 60th anniversary this year (aside from the Marvel Legends 20th anniversary wave Hulk figure, of course), so I'm not completely surprised by this. While I'm glad for M.C.U. fans who are awaiting this new wave, with the exception of a handful of figures shown already, personally, I find that all of the reveals and rumors for the figures Hasbro has planned for Marvel Legends this year are so underwhelming. The dip in quality control, the rising prices and questionable choices (making Doc Ock part of a two-pack and an Amazon exclusive without the requested bendy wire tentacles, the holes in Captain America's shield, having the rumored upcoming and highly requested Retro Spider-Man figure of the Lizard released as a Walmart exclusive, etc.) aren't helping raise my excitement either. I'm hoping that we get some new classic comic-based figure reveals for the Marvel Legends 20th anniversary wave, the Spider-Man 60th anniversary wave, and whatever unconfirmed/unannounced waves Hasbro have planned. But at this rate, I'm not exactly holding my breath. What a shame. |

1. Why are Ravager Thor's arms so long looking?
2. Is Star Lord using that old terrible Nick Fury jacket? |

1. They were doing reshoots as recently as March 2022. 2. Behind the camera talent threatened to strike in October 2021. They won improved working conditions such as shorter work days and guaranteed rest periods. Any movie that wasn't "in the can" before October 2021 will be effected by this. Just to be clear, this is a good thing. Many of these people were working 14-16 hour days with little rest in-between. But this does mean that it takes longer to make the film and complete post production. Even if Love and Thunder isn't getting pushed back, they could've held off on a trailer for a couple of reasons. 1. The promotional window for Black Widow and Shang-Chi were way off. They may want to make sure they can make their release date before they begin marketing the film. 2. Moon Knight was just released on D+ and they wanted to keep the hype and fan discussion on the show for the first few episodes rather than over-shadow the premiere with a Thor trailer. 3. Disney could be saving the Thor trailer for their presentation at CinemaCon. Trailers (sometimes even whole movies) will premiere at CC (April 25-28). |

Check your local Walmarts for the new Thor wave. On a local FB group someone posted pics in store at 2 Walmarts in Northern VA.

That’s definitely not the Fury jacket. The sculpt work is completely different.
