Oh gosh. I didn't even notice until you mentioned it. I have been blinded by the fact we're getting GR finally, that I've not looked too closely at this wave.

Spyne98 06-01-2015 11:20 AM

I seriously can not wait for Bulldozer! I want my complete Wrecking Crew! Tiger Shark and Grim Reaper are also really cool. The Wasp is a good replacement for the old Hasbro one. However, I'm not in love with the "Giant" Man. I feel it's a waste to have him as a regular size figure. The movie Ant Man looks decent. I don't really buy movies guys, but it's an easy way to have a Scott Lang Ant Man until we get a comic accurate one.

This. I couldn't agree more. Bulldozer to finally finish my favorite bad guy team. Reaper and Tigershark are favs. as well. And that's exactly what I'm doing with the movie Antman is placeholding for Scott Lang

Just saw Target has the 3.75 Antman/ant set for preorder with a 6/22 in stores date.

donmeca2020 06-01-2015 11:39 AM

i want a tigershark figure... but TRU charges for shipping as well. hmm maybe it's just worth waiting til they come out. knowing my area they probably won't come out til Christmas time

Agreed, Giant Man should have been the BAF.

That sucks, my area have been actually pretty good at getting the ML lately. Although I still pre ordered this any ways just so I don't have to hunt for them. Hoping the next Avengers wave is just as easy to get and not have to buy the whole case...

When they announced "Giant Man" in this wave, I was pretty hyped thinking we were getting a new 12-inch figure in the Marvel Now costume... then the pics came out.

Hasbro should seriously just be calling this figure "Man".

Hey guys, I've gotten bitten by the Marvel Legends bug hard, and I want to go back and see if there's any previous releases that tickle my fancy, but I can't seem to find a proper checklist of the 6" line. Anyone have a link or something that could help me out? I'm specifically looking at the Hasbro line - I have one Toy Biz 6" ML figure (Nightcrawler), but I like the aesthetics of the Hasbro line much more.

I blame this on my wife for buying me both a She-Hulk while she was visiting family, and more recently a Spider-Man 2099 while I was at work.

yea i wasn't even considering getting a whole case of the ant-man wave... i'll have to think it over whether i should go this TRU route or not. im wondering when the hulkbuster wave will be ready for order. i see dorkside now is taking preorders.

warmachine6 06-01-2015 12:27 PM

just to be clear im not whing about scale , its fine..
This is whats bugging me, the fact they couldn't make the head bit a bit bigger for the antlers
I might buy this figure to customize it to go with ML toybiz giant-man

This is a great visual with waves
MarvelLegends.Net - Marvel Legends

And then I did the old school checklist here

Good luck. Getting bit by the ML bug is like getting whooping cough. It never goes away.

Actually it looks like the antennas are actually folded down around the head. Probably because of the blister. Probably have to reshape them once you open him.

I think we'll have a good chance at getting some form of new Giant-Man soon enough. SDCC may be a possibility as the Ant-Man movie will be dropping around that time, or we may see him when the Civil War movie drops as Scott Lang is rumored to be donning the Giant-Man identity for the film.

Zend 06-01-2015 02:07 PM

I would looooooooove to see him be Giant Man in Civil War and see Hasbro give us an 18" figure of his suit.

Much obliged! Yeah, I think the bug came in to replace the DCUC bug that my wife and I have had for so long. Hopefully I can keep it in check XD

I was only going to get some X-Men. Almost a couple thousand dollars and pretty much 85% of the line a year later. DOOOH!

And then there's DC Icons in Nov which looks like the answer to Marvel Legends. Although no BAF pieces since they already did that. But still they look cool.

warmachine6 06-01-2015 03:02 PM

well thinking about a new proper size giantman figure
maybe they will use the inifimty war pt1 and pt2 films to their advantage , even civilwar
i mean we get roughly 6-7 figures a wave but then waiting a few years... might not be fun or promising.
But it would be fun for them to tease a giantman pym particle saying "imagine if we reversed them ?"
maybe sdcc will say something i do hope so

ChuckSass 06-01-2015 03:13 PM

wow, wasp isn't a swap and she's packed two per case!

Dorkside has the price up now and is taking pre-orders. 70 bucks for the Hulkbuster on its own. The Ant Man and Rhino waves are up there as well.

donmeca2020 06-01-2015 03:20 PM

the preorders just went up now on BBTS for all 3 waves !!!
