As for the F4, they're a hard sell, mostly because of the Fox stuff and because the last attempt at bringing them to the silver screen was so terrible. But I think they're MCU stock will be on the rise if it hasn't started already.

We've talked about other reasons for waning interest in the line for the longtime collectors, but this is honestly the biggest issue. There are a few characters that of course are going need to be regularly re-tooled or straight up releases yearly, it's not the Wolverines, Spider-Man or Iron Man type characters I have this issue with.

It's the sheer amount of B and C listers getting rolled out for the third or fourth time in as many years, if not more than that, that's really killing my interest here.

You didn't address this to me, but I couldn't help but respond to this as it's a concern that I also have and factors into my opinion. I've seen a lot of 'factory' dios and they are often made of cheap materials and their details aren't always stellar. Additionally, after having commissioned a few dios, I'm curious to see what their pricing will be, especially in light of the current rates for crude and the products it's used to make. If it's anywhere close to $300-$400, I'd much rather entrust an artistic talent with that money because it will buy me more in the way of artistry and I'll have input into the end product.



This comment flies in the face of your complaints last week about windowless boxes and price hikes, objections that were in concert with numerous others. When you complain about these things, are you being sincere, or is it merely posturing? I'm not being even remotely caustic in the asking as I'm genuinely confused as to where you are coming from or what your stance might be. Regardless of the answer, business fortunes can turn quickly when missteps are made and this line has ended once already on Hasbro's watch with them resuming after the dust settles.

THIS is it in a microcosm. We've stuck with Hasbro through a lot hoping that there would be a reward for that patronage. There have been many highlights, but those seem to be giving way to some irksome and self-destructive tendencies that, if not course corrected, could see Hasbro taking another hiatus on the Legends line. Actually, a break now wouldn't be that big of a blow with multiple other 6" lines: Star Wars, GI Joe, and Power Rangers all have dedicated fan bases.

Thor toys officially released on 4/26. The Legends are even in-stock on Pulse right now, so there's no logical reason to not be out on shelves at Target right now, too.




Moon Knight was good, but if you weren't a fan by the end of episode 5 then episode 6 wasn't going to win you over.

And I do agree with the critics on Doctor Strange that if you haven't been keeping up with D+ or have decent knowledge of various Marvel elements like the movie expects you to, than this movie will not be as enjoyable and is a weaker film for it.

Completely agreed. I'm wondering if Target perhaps had even larger sticker shock than we have at the increase- after all, much of the last few waves have been hanging around for ages or ending up getting clearanced out. Id imagine dealing with that at the old prices was already tough enough as is, I'd imagine being told they'd have to do the same at a higher price point is a tough pill to swallow.

This is all conjecture, of course. I first heard of it through Toyguru (ymmv) on YouTube, and have since seen rumblings of it elsewhere. Hopefully there's something else at play here- it'd kinda suck to have essentially just gotten into a line just to have it disappear
