Infinite Heroes was going to have a Manta but the line ended before it got made.

No. The IH line got to prototype with Nanta and them it was canceled. This will be #1 I dont think theres ever been a Lobo.
Or a Poison ivy, Cheetah, Riddler, and the only Cpatain Cold was the funko flash series.
I think it's fair to say the lines off to a good start given the inability of stores/sites to keep them in stock. Hopefully over the next three years we get a lit of characters that have never been done.

I just saw the Lex Luthor he looks great! As does the Aquaman super looking forward to him.

For my specific purposes, yes. I might get that one for a different one, though.

Il Cattivo 01-26-2020 08:01 PM

I hope they make a 6 king shark. even with the limited articulation, I'd buy that in a heartbeat. saw the 12 inch king shark at target. way too big.

Same. King Shark, based on size alone, has been my biggest failing for this series, so far.

That said, until we get official 'this is coming and when' communication from Spin Masters, a lot of it is snagging and speculating on different (potentially outdated) promotional material. For instance, I'm not sure that image with Killer Moth wasn't a prototype advert and the wave breakdown and stylings changed before manufacturer and shipping.

as far as I understand it this is from an Indonesian toy store who is sharing their order catalog/pamphlet pics
there doesn't seem to be any "wave"
however Lex & Wonder Woman already have in package pictures

Not wrong, but I have the Multiverse Arkham style ones and while I like the 'look' of these (BTAS-ish) Spin Masters figures more, the height and scale of those figures has me picking them for now.

But no King Shark, there, sadly.

This from the Mezco line would be perfect with the Fleischer stuff they are doing.

I got the BAF King Shark. He actually scales well with the Flash TV figures based on how he was depicted in the show. My vision is using these guys as his henchmen (henchsharks? Henchfish?).

Well when you are dealing with Aquaman and is historic lack of a rogues gallery compared to other JL members, you work with what you got.

Remember when the 6 inch line was determined to get all the characters from the Super Powers line? I want this line to hit all the characters that made that six inch line.

Spinmaster might need more than 3 years. Just sign em up now.

Sorry, it was sarcasm. Target.com has them on sale, but of course they are out of stock.

That might be possible, if they planned it out already. The process from proposal to pegs takes 8-12 months. If they completed their art before they got the license, that would knock about 4 months off, leaving them at 8, but the next step would be tooling and they would not want to start that until they had the license. If from that point they planned their use of parts to minimize tooling costs by reusing as many parts as possible, for example: black Superman is physically identical to red and blue Superman, just a different paint app and no cape, then they can crank out many different characters much faster than if they do individual sculpts for every part of each figure. Now granted there are some figures that must be done that will defy this process, like Joker, but a sufficient reuse could cut costs enough to make all of the figures you are referring to possible, just not as likely due to the number of unique sculpts like Darkseid.

I can't find any of this stuff on the Target app on my phone. How are you finding them?

slim19722 01-27-2020 06:04 PM

Yeah with the Target sale, I may pick up the Batmobile sooner rather than later.

If you search for them now they wont come up. If you searched while they were in stock they show up in recently searched and you can click on it. The aquaman and WW links I followed a link on another forum.
If I search for anything Batman no results because I dont have the item page saved

And before anyone asks the ivy is not from this line.

UPDATE I tried copy pasting one of the links
It works and the only difference is the character name. For example:
