Jigsaw is up on Walgreens.com.

Moments such as this are where I get in trouble. No real desire for Jigsaw as a character and he is not in one of my general purchase groups but the slew of included weapons/effects convinced me to buy him.

Guy must need glasses. That Longshot from TB was atrocious and has aged horribly. I never even bought it back when it came out due to it being so bad looking. Only other figs worse than him were Bucky, Scarlet Mitch & Rogue.

I personally think all of the Toybiz figures look atrocious. Magneto has gorilla arms. Silver Surfer's head was too small while his arms were too long. And then you have the figures that have balls instead of thighs. What was the deal with that?

Sure, ToyBiz was cool for giving each figure their own individual body, but I don't see what difference it makes when the figure were proportional nightmares.

Then I'll drop it. We are simply not going to agree. That ToyBiz Longshot looks terrible. TERRIBLE.

The sad fact is that pretty much all TB ML figs have aged horribly and when looking back at them, they all had way too much POA that would just loosen up over time and make em all look like gangly stringless marionettes. They suffered from "bowling ball shoulder" syndrome, and softballs for upper thighs. Ironman/WM/Mags all suffered from oversized "gorilla arms". The BAF Sentinel is still a thing of beauty imo as is the BAF Giantman. TB Rhino is still great as well. TB sculptors could never make a decent looking female figure & Scarlet Mitch and Rogue were atrocious looking! Hasbro ML line has pretty much blown all those figures out of the water with their versions. Neither company has yet to nail down a definitive Silver surfer as the Hasbro version is undersized, nor a classic Iceman or Human Torch imo. And they tend to over scale certain characters that have no business being BAF sized. Thing, KP, Beast for starters.

Spyne98 05-20-2022 12:26 PM

I think at the end of the day, everyone has their own tastes. Some people still like the Toy Biz stuff and that's fine. Personally, I'd rather get new Hasbro versions, but that's me. I'm not going to fight anyone over it.
With that said, I feel like the Mojo world price tag was high. I'm getting more and more selective with my Legends pickups. I'll buy anything X-Men related, but in recent years, there's been a lot of that. I am wondering it the bottom is about to fall out. Just my wonderings.

I really don't have an issue with the Silver Surfer size. Yeah, he's technically a bit taller than others, but he never really seems it, especially in the Kirby drawn FF comics.

Pulse sent out an email this afternoon to inform me that they would begin charging for the VHS XMTAS Wolverine in the next few days.

Also, if anyone still needs the Walgreens Baron Zemo, he's in stock on Zavvi. They're located in the UK so it takes a few days for orders to arrive. I ordered mine from them and had a good experience.

Man, you're killing it today. Thanks again.

"This one's for you MORPH!"

I'll be buying this figure even though I'm not collecting this line.

Lol Jigsaw shipped.

JCarterVA 05-21-2022 06:04 AM

I am happy for everyone that wanted Morph, MOJO, Longshot, Jigsaw. I don't want any of them for my collection but hopefully Hasbro will make characters I still want. It's good to have a break for the wallet. Great to see everyone sharing links and when things post.
I agree the TB is outdated and has issues. My lone hold out is Beta Ray Bill. I want a Walt Simonson version so I will be keeping mine on the Thor shelf.
Dorksidetoys.com has the Target Sharon Carter Capt Britain and BBTS has Quasar.

Quasar is up for pre-order a few places (BBTS, DST, EE). Dorkside also lists Baron Zemo.

I've begun repainting the silver bits on Mighty Thor. The chest armor was painted perfectly imo, but the rest of her needed to be touched up. So far I've completed her bracers, skirt, and boots. Her helmet is the only piece left. I've been hoping that they would release a new image of Jane wearing her helmet so I can get a good look at the details but so far, nada.

I wouldn't say no to a Morph, but i'm not collecting any of the animated series styled figures and think it's very possible he'll look completely out of place next to all my other legends. (okay there's in boxes right now so not really, but in the future). I'm not even getting the Storm figure and I told myself she's the one character I won't limit myself on as all her outfits are great.

But I'm really glad he's coming, I know he's really wanted.

jwyss234 05-21-2022 12:38 PM

A new Thor: Love and Thunder trailer should drop sometime during the Monday night basketball game on ABC. I haven't heard any rumors for more movie figures from L&T but a store exclusive, somewhere, wouldn't surprise me. Hopefully this new trailer means a new reveal is on the horizon.

Dr Kain 05-21-2022 03:54 PM

Another X-Men Omnibus checked off.

All I need now is for them to release issues 194-209 in Omnibus form ontop of reprinting X-Tinction Agenda.
