It looks amazing without relying on cheap gimmicks like cleavage or impossible tightness. |

Should anyone need a Thor's Hammer tool set, 1/2 price ($49) at Walmart. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Ukonic-Ma...-Set/291760035 |
Glad to see we're finally getting Mr Negative. Even though it's officially a game figure that's what he looks like in the comics so it can easily function as either. I wonder if they'll also wind up giving us Doc Ock from the PS4 game too, they'd have no excuse to reuse the same non-articulated tentacles then (instead we'd get NEW non-articulated tentacles :p).

Sick. I've been waiting on Mr. Negative forever. Another off my list!

https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...077f3680_b.jpg Some recent pickups. Pretty much right after I watched the movie I was interested in getting the America figure but I guess everyone else in my area felt similarly because she was just kinda gone everywhere and the stores haven't even clearanced the wave out yet, so I waited and got one for a little less online. It's a really nice looking figure (except for two minor bits of paint slop on mine) with great little details all over the jacket, but they could've done better in other areas too. First off, the limited range on her elbows is really weird considering how well they've managed this on other figures. Secondly then, the lack of accessories is felt. Her power isn't really compatible with anything short of a big deluxe piece like the Defender Strange's portal so I get why that wasn't included but I feel like she still could have included an alternate head like with her hair up in a ponytail or maybe some pizza balls (pizza poppa always gets paid!) just to have something. I gave her a slice of pizza from one of NECA's movie ninja turtles for this pic. Overall she looks nice but the functionality leaves room for improvement. At Gamestop today I found Siryn. The yellow is a bit blurry on the suit but I expected as much from previous figures and it's not a serious issue, when not scrutinizing it in-hand it's not obvious. The paint apps on the face are excellently done so to me that makes up for it. The soft-goods cape thing is a bit of a hassle for sure, but at least she has the bicep swivel and double hinged elbows to work with. Still though the soft-goods don't behave exactly like I wish they would and finding a pose where they sort-of look right can be a trick. I was never surprised to only get one head with this figure since more often than not that's the case with Legends and I really like the charming portrait Hasbro went with here, but I do feel then like the gesturing hands included are an odd fit because they seem like they were sculpted to pair with a screaming head. The best way I could make them work was like she was sweeping her hair back, but that actually works out alright since her hair is sculpted so swept already. Siryn was one of my last X-Men wants and this figure definitely satisfies far more than it disappoints in my book. |
/\ Siryn should have just had plastic capes like FA Storm had.

I've got some other suited bodies that would go great with those masked heads. A shame he doesn't included unmasked goon heads though. Again, this is a $30-40 set cosplaying as a $50 one. |
While not entirely new, the thug that comes with Mr. Negative looks to be a repurposed movie Logan as its proportions and stature are larger than the standard body Mr. Negative uses.

Nice to finally get Mr. Negative in the line. Marking that down as a maybe online purchase/probably if see it in the wild.. We have a good number of gamestops in these parts.

Also the Demons coming with unmasked heads would have made no sense since they never remove their masks ever. |

Martin Li head and hands would have been "cool", too, I agree, but for the proper effect you would need a second body painted in inverted colors, too, so really I'm happier the focus is on the Demon options in this set rather than Mr. Negative's less action-y civilian identity. |
