Not this guy, I actually haven't been actively building for a few years. I specialized in all wood builds, but rising shipping costs and the inherent limits of the material pushed me out of that in favor of other materials that I haven't really had time to work the kinks out on. This thread: https://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-j...-decision.html has some of my old "for sale" stuff from 3-6 years ago. The headquarters about 1/2 way down is what basically amounted to me having to ship a small dresser from Cali to Texas, and was actually sort of the nail in the coffin in regards to doing this full-time, it really put the aforementioned limits in perspective. Also, in regards to dresser: try not to judge too harshly in regards to the nakedness of the interior, nor the lack of certain practical features, like, I dunno, doors. The design was 100% the buyer's.

Wow very nice work on the dioramas, they look way better than most pieces companies throw in with their figures.

Somehow I missed that you created this kind of stuff. Absolutely amazing work, my friend. Most impressive.

No, it was definitely your work, which is pretty damn dope, by the way. #s 6, 11, and 13 are the ones I saw, I'm just not sure now where I actually saw them. Funny thing about having a sometimes good memory, is that it fools one into believing it's reliable all the time. Realistically, human memory is quite faulty and that's why people write shit down. :p

I understand the shipping woes all too well and have waited long periods for dio artists to find a box big enough to mail me large projects. I've also added to shipping cost payments to offset losses incurred by creators in packaging securely. Hopefully, you get back to that element of your hobby soon. as you definitely have a knack for it. :thumbs

Target’s doing their own deal day today to compete with Amazon’s Prime Day. The sale even extends to preorder items like upcoming Legends figures.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. The compliments alone are far more valuable to me than any sale I ever made during my time doing this.

@BlueMarvel:

I know all too well about the fallacy of memory. I' one of those both blessed and cursed with an extremely good memory, in fact I have memories of being a mere 2 years old and rarely forget a name or number. This sometimes leads to me arrogantly claiming that "I remember everything"... until, of course, I remember that I've forgotten something, like the "m" up above ;) .

In any case, I do have some big projects coming up, a couple are currently on the bench as we speak, in fact. One of those is typical for me in that it's 1:18, but completely outside of my comfort zone in every other regard, and the other is my first 1:12 build. Rest assured I'll be posting them here, provided I ever end up with some time off of work so that I can finish them, that is.

Some better sales today for Prime Days. The most recent exclusives (Rescue two-pack & the Wolverine set) are down to $32 & $70 respectively, which, to my memory, is the least they’ve been. Might finally grab that Wolverine set, because I’ve thought about paying $30-40 for just Callisto (the only one I really wanted from the set).

Anyone else get charged for Rhino on Pulse?

Yes. They said in an email the other day I would be getting charged for him.

TheBlueMarvel 07-13-2022 05:05 PM

That reminds me, I've got to cancel my backup orders, I received that Rhino weeks ago.

Ultra Seven 07-13-2022 06:49 PM

So, I just discovered this He-Man figure: https://www.amazon.com/Masters-Unive...%2C586&sr=8-36

… I think it’s an alright stand-in until they get around to a new Ka-Zar (right? That’ll totally happen, right?).

Dr Kain 07-13-2022 10:14 PM

We watched Ms Marvel 5 and 6 tonight and what a marvelous show it was. My second favorite MCU show. Not as good as Hawkeye, but just slightly better than Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

For those who have completed Bonebreaker, how necessary are the parts that come with Sabretooth? I'm thinking of actually completing that BAF which would mostly be brand new characters as well, but I know I"m passing on Wolverine and really have no interest in that Sabretooth.

I only got Siryn and I don't care about the rest but looking online Sabretooth unfortunately comes with a critical part. It's the belt/crotch piece that actually connects the torso to the tank.

Havok is the only figure that doesn't come with vital pieces as they're just barrels. He looks weird without them. I hope Havok doesn't take too much longer to ship from someone.

Finally got this set since it was only $31. I think they should have included instructions for how to swap out the pieces on Rescue's backpack from the basic flaps to the wing-like blaster-assist things, unless they did and I seriously missed them. I'm glad though that the blue on Carol's suit looks darker in hand like it did in the movie and it just photographs a decent deal lighter.

Spyne98 07-15-2022 03:19 AM

Long time no post. I hope everyone is well! I picked up the Clone Thor Target exclusive the other day. I mostly got it for the spinning hammer, which, to be honest is kind of a let down. I'm having my old Return of Marvel Legends Thor (SDCC) version hold it as he seems more stable with it over the 80th Thor. I'll snap a few pics later today.
Also, I went back a few pages. Great pictures everyone!

Thank you both! I guess I'll kind of play it by ear if I complete the BAF or not. I saw the pieces that come with Sabretooth and wasn't sure as they looked like accessories, but that makes since they're the connecting piece between the torso and tank. I've got Siryn now and just ordered Vulcan from Amazon, Havok is the only one left I really want and I feel like I'm halfway there, and am undecided if I want to complete Bonebreaker. That would be three additional characters that have never had a Legends figure in any form, so probably..but we'll see. Really dislike that Sabretooth though.

Dr Kain 07-15-2022 07:31 AM

Sabertooth is great though. I just have an issue with the face sculpt itself, but I'll deal. He's exactly what he should be like as he goes great with Mr Sinister. Now if we could just get Scalphunter, Malice, Arclight, Vertigo, and Riptide to go with him.

ThorOdinson123 07-15-2022 08:10 AM

No Way Home 3 pack of the 3 Spidey's is gonna be 90 bucks and pulse exclusive
