Slightly disappointed that we are not getting a Marvel Now Uncanny X-men team pack. Really wanted a new Emma Frost.

Oh well, Hela makes up for it. Now I'm gonna have to hunt down that Marvel Select Mephisto's throne and an army of undead figures to surround her.

I've been lucky and always gotten multiple sets of the exclusives off of Hasbro Toy Shop when they hit, but later on always found myself selling off the spares due to changing custom fodder needs or whatever. I think this year's exclusive is bad ass, but I'm not a super fan of any of the characters and don't need them to fill any holes in my collection. This year has been sort of a transition out of Marvel collecting for me, and I don't have the "gotta catch 'em all" fever anymore.

This years SDCC set is like a dream come true for me.

She will look excellent with Satana and Man thing, regardless of her street walker attire .

Magik is good enough for me, but yeah Emma in her outfit would have been awesome as well.
That's called sexy! Haha, really glad it's that outfit though. If it was her NM probably would have passed.

I'm the same. Skipped last year's Thanos Imperative set, but the other years I ended up paying extortionate amounts for the exclusives on Ebay after SDCC. It was worth it, but nonetheless it's a blow to the wallet.

If only it were her recent New Mutants/Extinction Team look, that would have been much better. However, a Magik's a Magik!

I was really hoping that when we got to Dormammu he might have been a big individual figure, like the new Thor, so that I could place him in my MU display as giant Dormammu. Like what I intend to do with the upcoming Giant Man.

Love the Kirby influence! Glad they respected that! :D

Ugh, wish I could get these, but not going to fret too much. I'm happy with the Hulkbuster and Rhino waves, but Dormammu and Magik T_T

*sigh* yeah. Shocked we got Magik but pleasantly so. My hopes for Polaris have been indefinitely crushed and unlikely we'll see Rogue or Moonstar come back from MIA.

Also realized this effectively shuts out a few F4 I'd like to see...assuming Attuma (who would be a great BAF) is part of that deal. No Wizard as well I assume.

Dammit. Not unexpected but dammit just the same.

I still hope since the tooling is done on Rogue she slips in somewhere. She's my most wanted as of now.

I would love to have that Rogue, a classic Storm and a Polaris!! The new SDCC exclusive is absolutely sick!! I cannot wait!

I think of the risk of setting myself up for further disappointment I will try not to even expect any X-Men figures. I may even redo my wishlist and hide the original away somewhere. That way I have a realistic expectational wishlist. Maybe after SDCC.

Urgh! Justice and Firestar are mutants are they not? Dammmit dammit dammmit. Okay. basically my wish list is Enchantress/Graviton/Count Nefaria/classic thunderbolts/Spectrum/Sersi/Shang-Chi. Are you happy now Marvel?

yeah Firestar would be on my shortlist as well, though until recently she hasn't actually been on an X-Men team. I think mutants matter less than X-team association. Her first appearance was spider-man associated and in the comics she was hellions and avengers. only joining a proper x-team last year on Amazing X-Men. So there might be some hope for her, at least licensing wise. She is still kind of obscure.

Not a set I am drooling over by any means but I would still like to have it if I can get it for a decent price.

Nice SDCC Exclusive, but the price gouging has already started. Go check out ebay. They want double the amount. Insane.

I'll probably end up paying close to that. But I'll wait until it's actually released first to see what happens. Who knows I might luck out. But seriously, I know $200 for 5 figures is a lot but given it's an exclusive you will not be able to find in normal ways, I'm willing to give that up once a year.

The ML exclusive always lasts an hour or two on HTS so there's no reason for an educated fan to overpay on eBay.

I paid slightly over regular price on the Legends set last year on ebay. I found a good seller with free shipping. But honestly, if you can, sit in front of Hasbro's site and buy when the exclusive comes up. I am fortunate enough to work a job where I can keep Hasbro's site open on one screen while I do other things and wait for the exclusive to pop up. I plan on not over paying this year. Here's hoping.

Okay, so not trying to defend any "scalpey" pricing practices, but as far as SDCC exclusives go, the prices on the secondary market may seem exorbitant, but the admission fees, travel expenses, time spent waiting in lines, shipping costs of trying to get those things home, etc, have to reasonably be worth something, and taken into consideration by buyers unable or unwilling to make the trek out to SDCC to get their own set. I've always landed them on HTS at regular price, but if I was forced to buy them from the secondary, I'd give the sellers a certain amount of leeway with the prices considering I myself didn't have the funds to go (and by all accounts, it is an EXPENSIVE and stressful endeavor hitting up SDCC).
Again, not justifying, but just trying to help put things in perspective.

This is very true. Plus, unless you are lucky enough to snag one online right after, there is no other way to get them. It's all a matter of if you want these....or not.
